I have a couple of these with my Bard, and I identified them with a song, and they identified as "Lesser Symbol of Roflon Zek" if this helps at all to divine the purpose of them.

All right, finally figured it out, so to satisfy curiosity, Clerics of Quellious need to gather 8 of these Odd Bone Necklaces for the Quellious Initiate Quest.

Just a note, the reward is a Quelious Cleric only item that must be worn to cast.

Just a quick note.. these are still dropping of the lesser shaman kobolds, just thought though that it might be a continuation of the kobold molar quest as when you turn in a molar the guard mentions something about seeing another guard for more work...just a thought.. will try it out nexzt time i am on and post the result.

I also got mine off a lesser shaman, so we know the spawn, but I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with it.

I have one also, fortunately i have both a paineel erudite, and a erudin erudite...gonna do some 'hailing' for info. BTW this was dropped for me off of a lesser kobold shaman
