This is a rough camp but not as bad as some of the experiences I've had in the past camping something like metal pipes for monk epic. I just cleared the northern and eastern parts of hate several times (maybe 6-8 times) and killed every forsaken revenant. I needed two my first dropped off Magi`P Tasa and the second off a male forsaken revenant.
On live server - Cleared the zone of all 'a forsaken revenant' and many other mobs along the way. Dropped on my 7th clear of the zone from a male 'a forsaken revenant'. Never got Magi P'Tasa to spawn. Mobs dropped about 5 fire staffs before my 1st earth one.

I spent two hours clearing all the forsaken revenants in the zone. Killed Magi P`Tasa, but he didn't drop it. Finally got it off a male forsaken revenant around the two hour mark of being in the zone.

Can confirm that this drops off the trash mobs, "a forsaken revenant", the male ones that are Magicians on TLP during the LDON era.

Thanks, changed the NPC name to male and moved the drops fro the female to her own npc page.

Confirming this staff drops off Male "a Forsaken Revenant" mobs in addition to Magi P'Tasa; it will drop even when the mob is *not* visibly holding a staff in their hands.
Edit: Just to be clear this is on live servers, progression servers (at least ones early in their timeline), the staff does not drop off of Revenants.

I have this on Luclin server, willing to MQ it for free. Got it off Magi while farming for SEoC, so send me a tell if you need it.

Anyone have this to MQ on prexus? I have been to POH a couple times, but am scared to try to solo things alone...lvl 56 mage. If anyone does have it send me an eq email or tell to Aiiryana as long as price is decent. Thanks

Can confirm it dropes in Hate from MALE Forsaken Revenants. Soloed with L58 Mage, dropped off my 3rd male Revenant. Pulled all DB mobs near zone in and as far as I could using Annul Magic and sent in pet. Not too hard just watch for wanderers. Most don't see thru Invis (Veil of the Elements), however the Clerics do...and they complete heal.
Don't pull chests solo, unless you are higher level. I couldn't get anything to stick and had to gate.

Zoned in with my 66 druid in Plane of Hate, killed first male forsaken rev. that was standing right in front of me (light blue con, resisted pretty much every spell that he cast on me). Went to the left (instead of going right across the bridge) and killed another make forsaken. He conned dark blue, didn't have the staff in hand, but it DID drop. Logged in magician, voila!

found this in PoH last night, thought I'd see if it was MQ able, and sure enough it is. in bristlebane server, let me know if you care to MQ it.

Dropped of a tier 1 mob today. Didn't want to leave it rotting. If anyone needs this and wants MQ of it, send a tell to Mahtra on Povar.

Got mine off the second forsaken revenant we killed near the zone-in (though it was the third trip to Hate). Think it was a male one, but can't guarantee that.
And got another one last night off a male forsaken revenant while soloing in Hate, which I'll MQ for a guild Mage: they seem to be moderately common these days, one drop in about five hours soloing.

Dropped off a male Forsaken Revenant this evening in the room where Magi P`Tasa spawns.
The staff does not seem that rare and any 55+ group can XP in Hate nowadays.

I was in PoHate with my buddies. We were pulling around the bridge by zone in area. I pulled 2 male vampires, one after the other, and each one dropped this staff.

Same thing happened to me. I had this drop off 2 consecutive male revenants off the bridge at zone in. Hated to see even 1 of these rot.
Jes finished 3 hours of camping on south of bridge. was 62 chanter (my main) 58 mage (me 2 boxing) 53 warrior and 65 Cleric. camped bridge and building south of bridge. Needless to say didnt see MAgi pop but it fell off a male revenant instead. ANY MALE REVENANT IS A POTENTIAL DROP. i have confirmed this at : 2:45am EST.
Confirmed on 6/28/04. Had one drop off a male revenant on the bridge. No mages in zone. Checking to see if it is MQ'able.
I've been to hate for about 9hrs with a mage friend of mine helping hmi do his epic and he(65 mage) has been soloing there for 4 days and we haev not gotten the damn magi to drop the earth staff :(

And believe it or not it dropped off of A Fury Ghast.
