Greater volcaration pet spells (57- 60) summon at best a level 48 pet. With the staff you could summon a level 49 pet.

Erm....i highly doubt that you'll find a lvl 62 pet in the game. The mage pet spells you get at certain lvls doesn't mean your pet will be around the same lvl as you. i think if you're lvl 49 and you use the lvl 49 pet spell... you actually end up with a lvl 39 or 40 pet. should either con blue or green. so uhm...62...not likely. ^_^

the staff noz drop from Magi , a mini boss level 55 . this guy always drops staff and some apothic armor.

the thing is, is that at the lvl you are at when you can take down inny to get this bad boy, 2 or 3 more lvl's on your pet will make a BIG difference, because as we all know 10 lvl 1 people cannot take 1 lvl 10 person, its all exponential, so you will feel the difference =).

course even if your guild is strong enough to take inny, it drops so rarely ya can forget about it. Course now it drops off hate mini boss so it not as hard to get :)

Yep...dropped off the revenent mini boss guy last night on Nameless...mob was Magi M'tasa (sp? on the last name)..lvl 55/56...and 2 sets of apothic gloves =)

bad news, the level 60 water pet, while nice will never be level 60 not even with the staff of elemental mastery: water, if you are lucky it wont be green....
