Alright, so this cut gem has some fantastic stats; 25 AC, etc. When combined with the ring to make a usable item, the resulting stats on the item are far less than that of the aug itself. Can another identical cut gem be then used, as an aug in the aforementioned item just created (ie, the ring)?

Edit: I see that the resulting ring has a type 7, and a type 9. What type of items with type 11 slots will take these cut augs and show stats???

This will help some. It will show the stats of the trio/duo jewelery bases depending on your level, the gem, and what the base is made of.

Just a bit of info i found out. the trilion cut aug, slot 11, fits but does NOT give you any stats in the cultural armor. i spent 2 days arguing with the GM about this and why it doesn't work. i won't go into the details. Until sony fixes this, the new cut augs will only work on the new dwerium solo duo and triple cut jewelry. So plz don't be buying this for your hand crafted armor.

Too bad the JC augs wont work in Cultural Armor. The Taaffeite aug has better stats than the Exalted wrist aug.

I don't really see a reason for Sony to fix this, as it's not "broken". The whole point of the aug is to customize Dwerium jewelry.

Because it is in fact broke. If they put it into a "wrist" piece of armor and it shows no stats then guess what ... its broke. If they did not intend this to go into cultural then Dwerium needs to have a new aug slot dont ya think? There is nothing on this aug that screams im for dwerium armor only.

Actually, that's where you're wrong, Ioka. It's not broken, because you're putting it into the wrong piece of equpiment. The augment itself may not say anything such as FOR DWERIUM ONLY, however the Dwerium pieces themselves say they draw out the power of specific gems. The cultural armor does not. Therefore, nothing is broken, you just wish to complain.

Sidenote: As for your statement saying they need to add an aug slot specifically for Dwerium and like-crafted items; why? What's wrong with the Type 11 they have already? That simply means that, if you honestly wanted to, you can probably put a cultural aug into a piece of Dwerium. I myself have not tried this, as I see it as a waste of money, though I imagine it works just the same.
