i just cast bind sight on it. it's still at the pond but it's a few feet under the bottom of the pond... was able to /target /open and /loot it... have to move around to find the right spot.
I bound myself just to the west of the pond. Put up invis, went into pond and opened the rocks. Then I pulled to the Sunderock zone, zoned in, gated back, and looted. Pulling them to the Sunderock zone rather than to The Steppes buys you some extra time before they all return.
Definitely a potential PITA. I'd suggest clearing some of the pixies before going into the pond, maybe even pulling a few of the oozes out and kill them on land. The oozes have a knockback effect and the pixies dispell, both effects which WILL land even on level 75 toons. Since you can't loot while in aggro, a few minutes' clearing will save u some grief.

Nope, it's the same for this, too. What I did (65 ranger with innate camo) was shoot at it with arrows, it dies, I camo, run up, wait for camo to refresh, loot, and hope I'm quick enough to camo again before aggroing everything around.
Yep Depthperception is so right. I went in hit open key, looted the part and let the mobs kill me. To much lag in the new zones to fight all them mob's anyway)>
BUT I did loot the part for this quest! So a little death never hurt anyone! haha
Underwater in a pond full of oozes. They hit for just under 200 per hit on a necro, so they aren't too bad. What is bad is the fact that there are a lot of them. I wasn't expecting it, so coupled with lag they killed me, but if you can get someone to pull them away to go in and get it you should be fine. Or, just use QVoX or Divine Aura or similar and you shouldn't have a problem, I don't think. Or, if you're not gimp just make sure you don't have lag - if the fairies see you they may start attacking too.
