This is one of 2 of Lynugas common drops from handing in rubies to her ( at 131pp each with max CHA and faction ) to get a much better item Ivandyr's Hoop. Walking sleep isnt that great a slow but it is ok for clerics who are LOM since it's a triggered cast item. Too bad its only 5 charges, but it may make the difference for a lowbie cleric who needs to save the day. No idea what level is required to trigger it, anyone can do the quest but the earring ( Ac6 +6 INT/WIS +6 hps 6 charges of a 150 hp Lifetap ) can only be used by evil worshipping class/race combos ( no druids ). By the time you can afford to hand in rubies to her to get that you will be high enuff level you will want a shaman or enchanter to slow your mobs more than likely...

This item is clickable from inventory, by anyone.

(Yes, I realize I'm replying to a four-year-old message.)

I'm not 100% sure that the turn-in NPC for this quest still exists, though. I know she existed after the Frogloks took over Grobb, but haven't seen her since the Trolls took over again. Of course, I'm not in Innothule very much, either.

I also realise I am replying to a 6 year old post.

This item is clickable, from inventory at level one, the NPC is still there and the item is still available.

I know i'm replying to old posts. This is a great item for a warrior to use and get extra aggro on a raid mob for TLP servers.

Usually an enchanter will charm the turn in mob and stand next to the trolls on the hand to sell the items after each turn in. This way you can turn in 5-20 rubies and give an alt the earring so you can keep trying.

Is this a better weapon than a glowing wooden crook for a Troll Shamen?

#Anonymous, Posted: May 14 2001 at 9:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) isnt that what the guy above just said? Whats the point of repeating? Just asking

Yeah Dwarfs are hammer wielders and are very strong also. At least in the storys I've read.

actually, from all i have seen and read, dwarves lean towards AXES insted of HAMMERS

clerics dont use sharp objects... a hammer is blunt, therefore a Dwarf CLERIC wouldn't use an axe
get it? good.

From my reading of Dwarf lore, if they can't have an axe, they prefer to have a hammer.
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 01 2001 at 10:02 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well, it "is" a mallet....kind of like a big
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 01 2001 at 10:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well, it "is" a mallet. Aren't dwarves pretty good with hammers and those type of things?
