I have my druid dyed black, but this looks like leather when worn. I now wear a elysian BP, but still keep this to cast mana free group regen. Very handy item.

can anyone describe or post a pic as to what this armor looks like?

warning: the rest of this post is a rant about VI's lack of creativity as far as fashion goes

Maybe its just me but I noticed that almost all luclin armor looks the same for each race. All the leather armor (which I think looks stupid on wood elfs anyway) has the base leather armor appearance but just different shades of color (green blue purple and so on). It looks really corny to have spots of skin that are supposed to be bare, shaded green or some other color...VI has been in the game for how long now? Druids in SS armor still look like noobies...just green noobies now =(. You would think that they would figure out a way to make charaters truly look diverse by the way they equipt themselves, instead of fashion flunkies who spray-painted their clothes (and skin) different colors. Even caster robes tend to be the same graphic in different colors, there are very few unique robe graphics.

I won this on 2 Feb 02. My 2nd plane of hate raid and this rare drop occured. Won roll out of 3 druids.

The race and class don't mix on the description above. Can anyone that has Druid Planes armor check their items and see if they added the beastlord races.

geeez.. the WIS, the Mana, the AC!.. Not to mention to effect! This item is every druids dream come true! now I am goin to hate! =) lol

I just submited a front and a rear view of this wonderfull item as worn by my self, Half Elf, to the fashion section.

I hope to see atleast the front view up soon, both would be nice 'cause the detail on this BP when worn is nice IMHO

This BP, like the other SoV druid quest BPs,
casts RotG faster than the spell can be cast.
Being a 58 druid who has not been able to get
his hands on the spell yet (damn Juggs have
literally dropped every other spell but this)
I'd kill for this BP (no pun intended). I
really don't think this item will be nerfed
because its useful but not unbalanced like
some items are. SoV equivalent drops in hate
are the same as the items you'd get from the
dwarves and frankly, most of them are pretty
rotten. If you're going to use up gems the
dragon/giant quests are much better in terms
of stats/resists/ac than the Thurgadin armour
is. Basically, as hate drops these are pretty
darn good.

My son, Dalian, a level 51 Druid, just got this Breastplate Last Friday, May 4th, 2001, in the Plane of Hate. He is able to cast this NOW on his group. Funny, he is very popular now for groups. Not sure, but it seems anyone that is able to go to the Planes will be able to cast from any armor from the Planes. Quick question though, how rare is this? From asking around, he is only the second Druid on Erollisi Marr to get this Breastplate, which would make it extremely rare.

Personal I think the BP blows ass compared to POG armor that other class have. All other class have nice resist on their BPs. Druids... +5 cr and dr? WTF is with that. I would take just +5 mr over the cr and dr.

This is what Druids have wanted for a while now! Not Uber armor, just some armor that has a decent AC, +WIS bonus and an effect that makes it worth going to the planes to get. I don't want to praise too early, but it looks as if Verant has finally started to make druids an equal part of this game.

Verm bp weighs more than a VW buggy, but notice this bp only weighs 3.5! Finally Verant gives druids armor that doesnt require them to keep a strength buff up at all times.
