Just got one in Blackfeather Roost and I think it came from a cunning mountain puma.

... drops from a snow leopard adult in Icefall. Just looted it this evening.
Frosted Chain sells for absolutely nothing when offered to Enpero Mesog merchant next to the Tribute Master in Qeynos (in area by the pool with space ship) by level 67 human ranger with 164 cha... Current bazaar prices range from 10 plat to 3000 plat on Bertox server... Not acceptable as Tribute...

Just dropped from an elder driftwolf in Icefall Glacier.
Got off Stepps Leopard today,, seems common here
Drop from the burly giants in Steppes, as do the swatches.

Used in a chain armor quest from Tenish in Crescent Reach, level 71+. Need 4 links
to turn in as part 1 of the quest, ancient chestgaurd mold for the second part and
then he gives you a Seared Chain Mail, BP with 80 AC, 235 hp/mana/end with decent stats and saves. required level for BP is 71 recommended is 75, and is class specific, no trade. Same guy does all the armor pieces, for all types of armor.

Found one of these in steppes. Dropped off a timber lizard

Got one off an elder dire wolf in Icefall, and another off one of the Kobold Slayers...im pretty sure they are part of the Chain TSS Tier 1 armor quests, but I have hailed a few mobs and cannot find who starts in, can anyone post some info if you find out?
Also drops from An Adolescent Cave Bear. got 6 from them so far.
