That is not a rumor, it is for a quest from a guy in Vergalid mines, sorry, can't remember the name. But he's in the back, and you can invis to him. I found him randomly wandering and got the quest.

Mm, I was unclear when I submitted this, didn't specify it was *outside* the zonein to Ashengate, not inside, for the record.
