not 100% sure but like 98% sure that i read somewhere that if you give the trader your priceless or primal 1hs he gives you a 20/20 knightly sword i know i read this just not sure where as i cruise the different websites everyday while at work....lol. hope that helps

The Knight's sword is Shadowknight and Paladin only, but if you are a paladin or SK, you can't dual and let me tell you a 20/20 with awesome stats pared up with fearshome shield. That's good stuff.

Was soloing today in EW around the portal to Sleeper's Tomb where I saw an NPC named "Garath the Trader." After speaking with him he told me that he would trade either a Priceless Warsword or a Primal Warsword for a "Knightly Sword." I have never seen this NPC before and was wondering if anyone knew about him or if this is possibly a new quest. I suspect that the "Knightly Sword" is quite uber. Anyone else know of this?

Downside is that the sword you get in trade becomes limited to Paladin/Shadow Knight... so no use to any warriors or other classes that could use the Priceless Velium Warsword... Mind you, that should be fairly obvious as gareth tells you that he's a warrior himself and wants a warrior weapon in exchange for one of two weapons he cant use...

i know all of you are flaming each other about rangers or sk's or warriors or whatnot....but what if this went to the bard? a nice, fast weapon that adds to important bard stats like dex and agi, plus it is just cool...this, IMHO, would be good along with the bard epic...
also, it's not so bad for pallies 'cept it's got no wis..besides they've got ghoulbane, SOM, and FA, etc. so why do they need this =D

Ummm, judging by how your raiding Sleeper's Tomb, I find it very unlikley you have a real life.

Hahaha. Either use your Epic blades or weapons between 22-30 delay, let the heavy tanks weild the fast weapons as they will draw agros and as a ranger using this or faster blades would be SUICIDE! Besides slighty slower weapons work better with haste items/buffs.

hmmmnnn...where to begin where to begin...first off if you a re ranger above lvl 40 you had better have learned to controll aggro or you won't even seea weapon compareble to a lamentation. Heh...and you are aware that earthcaller proccing would creat more hate than a primal that is procing avatar on you about once every 6swings or so? 20 delay weapon isn't all that fast....one of the best ranger weapons in the game is the revultant whip 14delay 5damage...drops in hate. Great weapon. And i have never heard one complaint about a ranger creating too much hate with it. I honestly have no clue how you made it to level 45 with your kind of thinking...i have been able to keep the stuff off me fine with an IBC(18delay weapon)...not all that hard really. Jut don't press the taunt button...and your fine. And rangers actually want faster weapons than warriors...we are damage dealers....the faster weapons we have the more damage we do. Main hand damage bonus makes the Rev whip one of the top 5 weapons...even compared to a primal for pure damage output. If you don't understand how to controll your place on the hate list...then i suggest you never...ever...go any where near a plane as you will endanger many people on that raid. BTW go talk to some of the rangers in FoH/afterlife etc...they usually have a primal main swiftwind off hand...well excepting Sean and that other guy...can't remember his name...they are special heh...they don't use thier epics any more...but any ways...basically you have no clue what your talking about...please shut up
and another thing..haste is an increase in damage not a reduction in delay....it works the same for any weapon...it doesn't work better for slower weapons.

These are not the best weapons in the game either. Go further into Sleeper's Tomb and you find Primal weapons. Better stats, and they proc Avatar.

Why would you give something with high taunt to an SK, so what they get 5 int (wow, so much...) and 50 mana, so, SK's don't want to get things argo'ed on them, they are not the main tanks, that would be the warrior job, a SK doesn't have Defensive, when something flurries on them, their in alot of trouble, alot more then a warrior on defensive...

This weapon should absolutely go to the Ranger in the guild and not the SK. I actually doubt the SK would even use it.
hmmmm Sk wouldn't even use it ???? well he may hand it in and get a 1:1 ratio +5 all stat weapon though so i think your average Sk will be biting your hand off to be at the front of the que

This s NOT a fake weapon. Afterlife in Mith marr Raided Sleepers and I met a bard weilding this weapon. On account that Sleepers is the just about the toughest Zone to get into, and very hard to fight in (Vpeak and Vtemple are toughest =) I'd say this is prolly a worthwhile item, coming from a very hard Dungeon. Just because you want the item really bad and know your never going to get it cause you suck, doesnt mean its fake. This weapon is for the Elite of the Elite, not the whiners and beggars

Heh, ya he dont sound very elite. What he means is this is for uber guild people who have nothing better to do then stay on their computer 24/7. Anyone who wants to do 6+ hour raids can get the uber stuff. It doesn't mean your Elite at all. Alot of 50+ players suck. It just means you have alot of time on your hands for raids, camping and CR.
Give it up. I raided the place last night with about 10 other people and saw it drop 4 times in 2 hours. I didn't get one. Does that mean I'm elite? I never once claimed to be. I'm just a warrior, plain and simple.
When you guys get to the levels that are required to get this stuff, THEN you can complain about it. Until then. keep quiet. It's not my fault people like you haven't got anything better to do than sit around and call every new item that comes along a fake.

Don't think an SK would get this. Even with the damage bonus at 60 factored in (approx 13 pts added to dmg rating for a 1hander), an ebon mace will give about 3% better damage output.

have you people forgotten it's 1hs...? sure, it's a great 1hs weapon, but SK cannot dual wield, 5int means nothing compared to what they could do with their own 2hs weapons.

The 5 Int may not mean much but there are 2 things here you're not looking at. +50 mana, and a 20 Delay weapon. This thing smokes most 2 handers out there in damage per second as well as provides 100 extra mana (5 from the int and 50 from the boost). This thing screams Shadowknight. Also with the fact you're using a 1hs, you can then bash with a shield.

Just a thought, as a bard i would kill to have a weapon like that, the extra mana would be handy, stats are VERY nice, and damage delay is what i am all about in a weapon :)

....hmm obviously none of you have tested this before.....
i have....a normal item(not no drop) will fall to the ground if thier is no room in your inventory...it really sucks some times....it will never pop to your cursor(people have asked for it but it has never been placed in game yet) no drop items on the other hand....will still be sitting in your melee slot....the only thing is that you will still be hitting with your fist...even though it displays the weapon equipeed. I have tried it...and that is what happens...nothing goes poof...you just have to pick it up and set it back in the weapon slot again.

Just wondering what happens to a NO DROP item if you duel someone and get disarmed does it go into you invent or fall on ground i pop onto cursor ?

I believe that if you have no available space in inventory, and a NO DROP item is sent to your inventory via a game function, then the item is destroyed. It can't be dropped to the ground, and there's no place to put it, so it effectively disappears. This happens sometimes when you do something like a quest, and receive an item that has no place to go. When this happens, it's best to petition and try to explain what happened to a GM. They can usually check their logs, and reimburse you with another identical item, if they can prove that you didn't: drop it, destroy it, sell it, trade it.
I also believe that when a player disarms another player, then the disarmed weapon is placed on the cursor, not in inventory... but I could be wrong.

It actually would pop to your cursor... even if you are holding something else with it, you can hold many things with your cursor, hehe.

yes you can hold more than one thing with your cursor it just reaveals itself after you put the first thing up
