I see items like this that are lore and no drop and then consider the level required and the stats (or in this case the severe lack thereof) and the first thing that pops into my head is quest item. I had the 4 foraged pieces for my druid epic before the epic was released because I saw lore and no drop on them and kept them till I found info on it. In this case, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a piece to a quest that is either broken, not fully implemented (read broken) or not fully discovered. Who knows, I could be wrong, but Verant should know better by now to release a 'named' great staff (which is all this is) that can be bought for a few plat at level 1 in a dungeon that is 25+ and make it no drop.

I'm betting it's probably for one of the warrior pike upgrades. they all require a shaft and a head, so... who knows. Has anyone identified it? What's it say?
