I (necromancer) researched this spell today (3-31-09) with the following recipe in a Spell Research Kit:

Chronal Resonance Dust
Quill of the Arch Lich
Ink Additive of the Nameless
Invigorating Thickener
Ink of Prexus
Ink of Pain
Ink of the Eagle
Fine Runic Vellum

Was trying to make the spell Dark Possession and it came up with this, did it twice and came up with the same thing. Dunno if they just changed the name or what!

Recipe:
Quill of the Arch Lich
Ink Additive of the Nameless

If anyone knows the current recipe for Grave Pact, please post it or mail it to eqteam@allakhazam.com.

Confirmed...this recipe gives dark possesion, interestingly eqtraders also has both spells marked down with same recipe, but eqtc note says both recipes create grave pact..which is no longer true.
Quest change

Dont know when it happened, but at some point in the recent past, Sony decided this quest was too easy, and now the quest giver roams and WARPS all over the damn zone! I spent 45 min sitting at the zone-in with both necro DAs up, and my ranger tracking this guy all over the zone. Finally, he warped into the courtyard. DA up and I ran. The guy will WALK around as you are tryin to get the quest and do the turn-in! So you have to stay close enough to him while he's walking around to keep the give window open. The ability to solo this has been severely nerfed. Thank you Sony, for being as worthless as teets on a boar hog. My guild did this for some of us, and what they ended up doing finally was having the guild tank train everything in the zone and then the rest of the guild spread out to find the one mob that didn't aggro. Unbelievable.

Also reward for doing the following missions:

each of the following quests gives you a you your lvl 70 rage spell/disc apon completion the first time. After that you only get a faction hit. While unconfirmed No matter what race is in controle of Sverag the quests are the same yet the name of the NPC changes. You do not need any faction to aquire theese since the NPC cons indifferent to all. Once You enter the Zone destroy teh first door and teh NPC should be standing right infront of you. No NPCs seems to wander close enough to agro you while talking to teh NPC>

When i enteret Sverag last time the werewolves where in controle and the NPC name was "a farspirit"

a farspirit regards you indifferently -- what would you like your tombstone to say?
You hail a farspirit

a farspirit says 'I can only hold my rage back if you [can prove] your worth.'

____ says 'I can prove my worth'

A window pops up with the following missions:

"Bring Me Their Heads!" time: unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Bloody Orc Head to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Bring Me Their Skulls!" time: unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Undead Legionnaire's Skull to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Bring Me The Head of a Giant" time: unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Bolvirk Ear to a farspirit
Reward:
experience

"Eye Want Them Dead" Time: Unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Evil Eye Central Oculus to a farspirit
Reward:
experience

"Drachnid Heads" Time: Unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Drachnid Head to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Paws for Effect" time: Unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Kobold Paw to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Take Their Tentacles" time: Unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Shiliskin Feeding Tentacles to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Axe Them No Questions" time: Unlimited
Objective:
Deliver 4 Stone War Axe to a farspirit
Reward:
Experience

"Engines Of Destructions" time: Unlimited
Objective:
Destroy at least four catapults ( in devestation )
Destroy at least four ballistas ( in Devestation )
Tal to your contact(In sverag)
Reward:
Experience
NOTE: There is an issue where if you only do magic damage the kill is not counted. So remember to wack it a couple of times to avoid this.

On this perticular quest when You hail him after tasks complete you get yellow text saying:
Hrrmph. You have done much to prove your worth, but I still dont trust you.
You gained experience.

on hand ins:
Your task " name_of_task_here" has been updated.
Your task " name_of_task_here" has been updated
Your task " name_of_task_here" has been updated
Your task " name_of_task_here" has been updated

no new NPC text appears.
Each task only requires you to hand in 4 x racial items.
Meaning you can go get the items first then get the task and do the turn ins.
Also There is probably 1 quest involving werevolf drops. So basically you can get any mission from a quets NPC except the one involving the NPCs race.
