Well if you've hunted in rage you probably know the mobs change.

From Undead to Kobold, etc.

Well when we had this Leafblade Ring drop it was from a trash mob when all the mobs were Kobolds.

So it doesn't just come only when the giants are up, it most likely comes from any mob type that's in there regardless of who controls the zone at the time.

Not 100% sure of course but I can at least verify it comes from the Kobolds as well as the Bolvrik.

Sliliskin~whatever the squidface mobs are called dropped it for me
..type 7 aug slot, seems odd for the quality of this item, but i won't complain, got a 45hp/10ac aug in it

random off any trash mob from what I was told.
Seen 2 drop.
One off werewolves and one off undead.

Ok I've been in Devastation for a couple weeks now. I've killed lots of "a bolvirk" in that time and have not seen this ring drop once.

Yet it's rarity is listed as COMMON?

Common is the default setting. Surely you cannot expect Allakhazam's to already know how common this thing is, especially since your comment is the first report they have had on drop frequency.
