I made this with my halfling at 154 skill and a geerlok. In addition to my success, I got a skill up also to 155. Not bad for a 228 trivial level...

Prexus Halfling Cultural armor

All this was done on Prexus server but heres how to get started on halfling cultural armor:

1. Get two pieces of stackable HQ ore, both pieces I have were rare drops off the Goblin Janitor who wanders around Runnyeye, he was a green con to me at 40 and two 286hp nukes would drop him easily(snare first or he runs like hell).
It took about 25 kills to get two pieces of HQ ore.

2. smith the two pieces of ore with a flask of water to make a HQ metal bit. Then in the halfling cultural forge in rivervale(behind the bard) place the HQ metal bits, water, a thimble mold, and a needle mold and combine. I did this at 148 smithing skill the first try, if you don't have smithing skill I recommend finding a trustworthy halfling smith to do it for you.

3. I am only 102 tailoring so to date I have only made the imbued studded leather, but its very nice to have. The studs used in making it are made from regular ore, once you have the vale sewing kit you do NOT need any more HQ ore. Go to Eqtraders.com for a complete listing of the recipes, the ones there worked for me.

4. Imbued halfling armor can only be worn by Karana worshippers, but unimbued can be used by just about anybody. Studded boots are 1.5 weight, ac6 and I believe they were all/all.

Anybody seeking some of this made for them give Mattilo a tell on prexus server, main thing you have to provide is the brute hide, the rest of the ingredients I can get in no time at all. I make no guarantees I will succeed on every attempt but only expect reimbursement for my time if I do make you a piece, if I fail I get nothing. (we can group so you can monitor my attempts) At time of this posting reinforced leather vale armor is most likely a long shot on making.

Imbued

Karana Druids can imbue it as well. The spell is sold in Felwithe. It didn't used to say DRU on the class, but they could scribe anyways. Recently they made it so it says CLR and DRU.

I should know, my druid has the spell and has used it. I also have used the imbued plains pebbles with my enchanter to make jewelery.

Wow! the jewelry thing sounds cool!

What jewelry can be made with the imbued pebbles?
Do I need enchanted ores to make the jewelry magical?

Just wondering, I would like to try this out.

The pebble must then be imbued by a Cleric of Karana. It is not found already imbued.

High Elves

Sigh, so it looks like all those Karana High Elf Wizards out there, who declined to chose the Demonic Burning Prince as their god, are completely SOL on the Karana imbued stuff? Are all the imbued things not usable by high elves?

When did wizards start wearing leather???

# Feb 17 2001 at 8:50 AM Rating: Default
the price for making these need to drop alot.
RE: Crap
# Feb 19 2001 at 1:44 PM Rating: Default
Huh? The price is practically nothing...
brute hide = free
plains pebble = free
HQ = free if you spend just a little time in High Pass or Runneyeye (if you want to make the studded version that is a whole 1AC different)
pattern = what a couple silver?

All Halfling tailoring requires is a little time to gather the materials. Now if you buying the components you're just too lazy....

Plains pebbles are no big deal, but is the imbued plains pebble something else entirely? I would love to have a pair of these boots. Anyone on Morrel Thule making these?

No they are not scars god items but for most druids they only have one shot at wisdom boots. GEB's which will run you at least 10k on my server. This does allow a cheaper option until the day comes where you can drop that kind of cash.

I hate to be the one that throws a wet blanket over ya but, you don't always have to go buy stuff you can get people together and go camp it!

# Feb 19 2001 at 10:59 AM Rating: Default
I hate to pick up the wet blanket and throw it back, but there are druids under level 45 out there. This is a good item for everybody in that category.
RE: Crap
# Feb 19 2001 at 12:19 PM Rating: Decent
ok, no wet blanket here, just a couple pieces of info. These are decent for druids under 40, but there are 2 other options I know of. Burynai boots from Field of Bone/Kurns are +3 wis and there is a quest anklet (no drop) that is also +3 wis-however i have never seen the rare mob for this one. Now i hear these imbued boots run about 100pp and have the additional stat of stamina. These are good boots, but the trick is finding the halfling racial tailor selling them. That i have never seen (on Xev anyhow) either. But these are 3 good options for any druids in their low 20s and higher. But all are fairly rare to find. If anyone on xev has some, i will be happy to trade you some kobold hide boots, or just buy them from you.
