Fury lasts for about 40 minutes. It is self only and currently has only 5 charges. There is no indication of charges when you receive it.

Have found no way of recharging the item. Mana batteries can be purchased from the Key Master in POA. But the Songweaver's Mantle has no mana class, so, a mana battery won't help.

just got mine also, but want hard facts about old and new mantles.

Is new mantle rechagable like PoA quest items are supposed to be? and if so how do you recharge?

Was old mantle ulimited recast?

Is effect self only.

And from a bard righ clicked on mantle what is its effect and duration? (shammy spell lists 5 minute duration and self only.)

I just completed the quest, and it is indeed charged based. 5 uses and your done. Now that Verent has nerfed this item, it just adds to the worthless quests that are in Sky for bards.

The new stats for the item are:
9ac 7str 7dex 5cha 5agi 5mr
5 charges of Fury

Mine stopped providing Fury after 5 casts. I just completed the quest 3 weeks ago. I f anyone knows the secret to getting them recharged let me know.

This is the first PoA item I see with unlmited charges... now I know there was a rumour that they're gonna change most of the PoA quest items to have unlimited charges... can this be actually true ? :)
