ItemSorry to say this but I almost totally disagree with you on almost all points.
First of all I have seen Zland drop twice and only a small handful of the melee had dragon haste items. The 4 wizards we had with dragon's bane is what dropped him. The melee were there just to build aggro before the slow burns started. The MA then had a RBB which is on the low end of dragon haste items.
The AC is mute, you would likely be dropping a belt to wear this if you wanted it and can make up for it the lost AC on a new belt. Past 1250ac do you see a lot of returns? NO! ANd any guild doing Zland is going to have warriors easily over 1250 ac even with resist items on, most likely over 1400 with buffs. It's all about hp's at that time. I MA some and in spite of another MA warrior in my guild having more AC than I, I am a better MA having almost 1000 more hps than he unbuffed. A 60 warrior would get 104hps from sta and plus hps without even considering AA point skills. It could be 114 more points with a 10% skill in the second AA level.
Would I drop my haste belt, bank the warlord's helm to wear this, get a spider fur belt out of the bank to wear and look for a belt upgrade? Like in Maiden's Eye for example? You bet! I might lose some ac but the HP gain from a different belt and the helm would more than make up for it.
Besides, it's a tradeable item and that means it would likely be passed down when you upgrade. And that +15 disease resist is nothing to sneeze at either even though there are less than a handful of uber mobs that you would need it against, it's still nice.

Like to also add, that because you can drop Zland, doesnt mean your WHOLE guild is in the l33test of leet gear they can get. I think a big misconception among a lot of people is how decked out every person in high end guilds are. And also, fail to see how much time is required to get such things. Especailly with large guilds, some numbering 100+ members, anything that drops off a dragon is good enough for someone in the guild. Tack on overcrowding of high end material, if your in it just for the l33t drops, your not going to have much fun. Have no fear, when your finally capable of killing Zlandicar, youll realize that it isnt out of the realm of possibility for a guildy to still need this. May not be up to par for a MA tank, but trust me, it is for the assisters of the tank.
