Ive been looking over some of the higher end jewelry crafted items. The stats are awesome on this thing, but.. how do you make it? This seems to be an issue with all high end jewelry. You can see that its crafted, but like most other high end stuff that is made, you have no idea how to make the thing. Ive searched the web and have come up with not. If anybody has a good link to a page that has detailed info on how to make items like this... please drop me an email phigment4@msn.com. Thanx.

In most cases, it is easy to see how to make a Jewlery item.

It is ALWAYS one metal and one stone.

The name of this item: Imbued Black Sapphire Platinum Necklace

Ingredients: Imbued Black Sapphire & Enchanted Bar of Platinum

All I gotta say is that the reason they always talk about int casters maxing out is because it's A LOT easier! I've played a cleric and a wizard. The Cleric at lvl 28 had 160 wisdom and like 25 mana added from equiptment. My wizard at lvl 30 has 209 int, and over 175 added mana! It's tons easier with an intelligence caster, believe me! This is however an awesome piece of equiptment, congrats Bertox followers!

This is an incredible neck piece for those who already have max int, and want that extra bit of mana. Sure, people will argue that even casters need that extra bit hp, but when it comes down to it, 30 isnt going to do anything if you are high enough to need the extra mana more than intelligence. Besides post 50, its better off and even a necessity of sorts to group, and in these groups if you really want more hp there 90% of the time is someone to hp buff you. (btw I could always bring in the 10 mana equals 1 int at lvl 50 and above argument, but that would just really show how nice an item this is indeed for everyone post 50) (=

Uh, +75 mana is a pretty nice caster/priest item... Offhand I only know of Human Necro's that can worship bertoxx... maybe evil clerics too.

Human warriors, clerics, rogues, shadowknights, magicians, enchanters, wizards, necros.
Gnome warriors, clerics, rogues, necros, magicians, enchanters, wizards.

They can all worship Berty. Qeynos and Ak'Anon underground have trainers for all of them (except human rogues)

Erudite SKs worship Cazic Thule.

Qeynos SKs, Necros, and Clerics can worship Bertoxxulous.

Does it even make sense that clerics can worship Bertoxx? He is the Plaguebringer. What, are they going to help him bring a plague to the world...and then cure it?

For what it's worth, human enchanters can worship Bertoxx under Qeynos. But I doubt a decent role-playing enchanter would choose a religion except for a challenge...

"But I doubt a decent role-playing enchanter would choose a religion except for a challenge"
At least not an evil religion, but I roleplay and my enchanters have always followed Erollisi Marr, just because they do, not because it's the sensible thing to do. I let my characters live their lives, and I try to impose as few outside choices as possible on them, if that makes any sense :)
To keep it on topic, I think the exchange of hp for mana is a good deal, I know a cleric of Bertox who would love this.

"velium black saphire neck is 65 hp 65 mana, i know i would much rather have 30 more hp then 10 more mana" You are comparing platinum to velium, wait to see the Imbued Black Sapphire Velium Necklace and compare it to that.

well last time i checked divine aura only costs 10mana to be cast and im sure in the ten seconds that you would have been invulnerable what ever mob you are fighting will do way more then 30hp in dmg
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 10 2001 at 3:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Wahtever, obviously you have not played for too long, the succession rate on NORMAL black sap/plat at a skill of 200 is only 2%, I personally would not pay for a chanter to fail 15 times trying to make this item, whoever has got it is very lucky
RE: THIS SUCKS
# Feb 11 2001 at 4:16 PM Rating: Default
Well, then why would an enchanter be foolish enough to try it at 200 skill? I have an enchanter friend who has it around 220 now, or higher...he hasn't bragged about it in a while but it was at least 217 when last I heard from him.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 11 2001 at 8:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My skill is 36.. I bet I could make these all day! hehe
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 12 2001 at 1:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have an Enchanter friend who's skill is 250.. He spent thousands and thousands of pp to get there.. But now he make thousands off pp at a time.. I'm sure he can make this if he can make Velium Blue Diamond with a very decent succession rate.

Across the board the religious jewelry has been dissapointing. it tends to be less beneficial than its non-imbued counterpart. at least this one does not have negative modifiers
