GREAT WEAPON! I want ONE!

This is a bit late to chime in on the topic but I want to get my 2 cent to be out there!

This is a great weapon for a soloing WAR! Couple this weapon with a slow weapon, a buff weapon + Damage proc weapon. That war is gonna be a monster! Of course don't forget about the High HP/AC gears =)With Potions and other good buffs, I am pretty sure a war can solo mobs that are dark blue or even con. Except for maybe High end over the top world...where mob dish out 10K+ Hp each hit. =D.
Claw
# Jan 16 2003 at 7:55 AM Rating: Decent
Yes, it looks like a claw, like off of wolverine or something. Procs alot for me, but then i usually have buffed dex over 220's. Just have it for agro, kind of high delay for primary, guess will have to find a hard hitting secondary with matching or higher delay to go with it, maybe a losee.
Crystal vs. Cracked
# May 06 2002 at 4:52 PM Rating: Decent
Why is the CRACKED claw of this guy better than the CRYSTAL claw of Veeshan? odd, don't you think?

RE: Crystal vs. Cracked
# Dec 07 2005 at 4:33 PM Rating: Decent
Yeah, seriously. Besides, if Veeshan's claws are so large that they formed the Great Divide in one swipe, shouldn't the claw itself take up an entire zone?

Claws
# Apr 28 2001 at 3:19 AM Rating: Default
It does indeed look like a claw.

It procs like a ****, but yes, cripple over writes it.

It is very nice for just exping, but it isnt a long term weapons in anyones ********

If only it was off hand and not just primary - I might actually use it a bit more. Shame that as soon as you have epic, you don't really use it. It is still fun to have though. I am a bard and hit in the high 70;s to low 80's with it on 60+ mobs
RE: Claws
# May 18 2001 at 6:28 PM Rating: Decent
its not gonna be in a long term ******** U do understand this drops off of a lvl65 dragon, (i didnt say undead so its not Trak Ha)
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 23 2001 at 10:17 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) u need to have a piercer in primary hand to backstab....sheesh get a clue
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 22 2001 at 1:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why even make it rogue usable? Why not? That is the most idiotic question I have heard. You don't always need a piercing weapon in main hand throughout the fight to make a backstab. Just have your floating menu open, when backstab comes up, swap blades, backstab, and then swap back. This weapon has a nice dmg/dly, so that makes more hits in between the backstab.

Anonymous is one of the dumbest people I've seen, just look at all sorts of other threads and posts made by him ... but for real why in the world would you take off a weapon with the stats like ragebringer to put in something like that?!?!

My form is weak. Your style is excellent. I hate you!
RE: Rogues..
# Oct 22 2001 at 11:51 AM Rating: Decent
yes ..thats true but for this weapon.. by the time a rogue will be fighting this thing..he will most likely have his epic..which is a much much better primary for just normal melee..and it wont involve the annoying switch stuffs
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 11 2001 at 3:33 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why even make this usable by a rogue? They might as well have added a mana bonus.
Verant!

Every now and then we have to stop and think how much we love Verant Interactive.
Question?
# Feb 09 2001 at 4:01 PM Rating: Default
Does this item look like a claw in the game.Like the look of a Bladed Thulian Claw or a Spined Dragon claw, etc.Or is it like a sword?
RE: Question?
# Feb 09 2001 at 4:30 PM Rating: Default
I would imagine it is a wakazashi appearance of some sort, as it's a copycat weapon of the Crystal Claw of Veeshan.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 09 2001 at 2:07 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why cant they let us Shamans keep what few decent debuffs that we do have off of Weps. Yet another item to further add to the extinction of Shamans.
RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Feb 09 2001 at 2:18 PM Rating: Default
You are a complete idiot. How does a proc on a weapon make Shamans obsolete? Noone in their right mind would ever count on a proc. The proc goes off when the mob is 95% dead most of the time. Yeah thats real useful! If you have nothing intelligent to post, then dont bother posting here.
RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Feb 09 2001 at 4:26 PM Rating: Default
That and the spell cripple is much better than incapacitate. This weapon would be nice if you did not have a shaman in the group but if you did have one they have much better debuffs than incapacitate.
RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Feb 09 2001 at 5:03 PM Rating: Default
Yes and one more thing, I can just imagine every other melee class player wielding one of these. I mean, it's no drop and you have to be level 60 to obtain it (according to the above information).
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 12 2001 at 5:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) wtf I HAVE A BETTER WEAPON AT LVL 16. At lvl 60!?!? what kind of moronic lvl 60 would have this again? I would rather have a my fists and not a slight against monks i hold you ina high regard
RE: Grrrr Damn Trolls
# Apr 15 2001 at 10:00 PM Rating: Default
i think i want to know what weapon a lvl 16 has that is better then this. So please post it's stats, or if you have a SS throw that in too.

Ornate sword of the general,

Before the general was beefed up, lot of people equiped twinks with that sword.

10/18 1hs and several stats including hps
RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Feb 27 2001 at 3:40 PM Rating: Decent
Gurkamorka, If you have a better weapon than this at level 16, then you have been disgustingly twinked. My primary character is barely below level 50, and this weapon blows my current weapons away...

And if you are level 16 with an uber weapon, I guess there's not much to look forward too (in the way of weapons) as you get higher level...

RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Feb 15 2001 at 4:06 PM Rating: Decent
It's called wait until you're facing a griffin, and the process fires off 4 times in 8 shots right when you're cleric companion ran out of mana. THEN you'll appreciate it.
RE: Grrrr Damn Verant
# Jul 01 2003 at 2:25 AM Rating: Decent
group with a shammy of your lvl and you will have this effect when it is needed... from the begining of the fight till mob's death.
-55 str (less dmg taken)
-24Ac (more DMG inflicted per hit)
-55 sta (I suppose a bit less hp to take from mob)

This proc isn't some kind of uber-die-on-the-spot effect, it's a debuff. Something like -55 STR -55AGI -24AC. A very nice proc, true, but it's not gonna turn the tide of a fight. It's not like the mob stops doing damage, they just deal a bit less. And, I'm sorry, at the level required to obtain this weapon, I doubt you'd be grouping with a cleric to run around and kill griffins anyway (except maybe snow griffins if the cleric needs eggs).

neg 55 agi
neg 55 str
neg 24 AC
along with being just 1 dly slower and a little lighter than the warrior epic.. sure am glad they made that quest just 1 step from impossible, god forbid we have more than 3 sets of them per server... ok I'm done ranting, very nice blade :)
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 08 2001 at 10:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) by "neg 55 agi/str etc." do you mean it takes away 55 from each catagory, cuz if it does, i really dont know why people would ever want this item...
RE: details
# Feb 08 2001 at 11:05 PM Rating: Decent
What he means is the proc casts that spell on your enemy which reduces their Str and Agi by that amount etc.
