This is one the original Everquest enigmas. Eight years later this still drops and still has absolutely no use.
After 16 years, I'm not listing every friggin character.
As of today, it has not "quest" tag so is "virtually" useless imho since you can't sell it, tribute it or use in a quest.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you thought you heard was not what I meant.
This item seems to have no purpose whatsoever, and coincidentally there is the Golden etched Heretic cloak (no drop no trade, no stats) that also has no quest associated with it. Yet drops from the same area of the hole, off any of the spirits. I think a number of quest items were placed, but the quests were never implemented.

ID'd as "Holy Dirt of Brell." No drop, so can't sell it or tribute it anyway. Still no idea as to what it's for. I'm guessing a cleric-type quest though, or dwarven or halfling.

This also drops from the 'an elemental monstrosity'. Had one drop today.
Just droped today from a massive construct (the big golems)

I know there is a quest in Kaladim with the head cleric guildmaster. I have not gone back and looked it up but seems to me it mentions something similar anyway to this. Could it be this?
I have done much searching and have found no practical use for it. Better off destroying it.

it has 0 merchant value ( makes it look like a quest object) - It identifies as Holy Dirt of Brell too. It also has 0 Tribute value.
As a Brell worhipping Dwarf I am trying hard to find out what this is for

Ok- Ah be a Dwarf, A devote follower o Blessed Brell, A cleric t'boot an even been in t'Hole an picked up this item . . . an still have no clue as t'what it be fer!!
At t'top o t'page here it says in lovely nice letters . . . "tis item is used in quests" but damme if it tells me what quest tha be all about!! an t'Gods an Goddesses ha done got a Book twelve inches thick an written in very small print FULL of Quests!!

Sorry Fayrnn, but the "Quests: This item is used in quests." is just standard boilerplate on Allakhazam. When they leave it blank, no one has determined a quest to fill in that category.
Btw, I am looking at this because I too picked one up and am a Good and Mighty Dwarven Cleric and follower of Brell. So shall hold this for a while before destroying. This is an old world item and probably part of a former quest, or one never fully developed.

Yes, they have the wrong icon listed here. The icon they show here is for the "Living Heart of a Brell Minion".

I just had this drop on my raid last night aswell. It looks like white dust pile, but I cannot seem to find a quest for it. It was a NO DROP item. Came off a harvester if I remember correctly

I think the heart is actually from a "living heart of a brell minion" or something to that effects that also drops in the hole.

Got some of this in the hole last night... stats are the same, but it looks like embalming dust with the "stack number" gone from the lower right hand corner. I have spent some good time in The Hole and only have only seen this one drop. Anyone have any use for it?
