was just in there with a 49 shamman and got 6 bloods in an hour and got whacked then that was it

I was looking for the Hearty Goblin Blood, (tried bazaar, but none), just to
get alchemy skill up. Figured it would be almost as easy as hunting silk.
NOT! This must be a very rare drop. I went in with my 67 warrior and 68 druid,
killing goblin after goblin for over 2 hours and I only looted ONE blood from
a named Overseer Pruckib.
That was enough for me. I need at least 100 of these to help with skilling up
my shaman's alchemy, so I'll have to find something else (sigh)

Hunted in Droga for about 2-3 hours last night, looted 26 bloods, about every other mob.
I was looking at my inventory and I have 40 so it can't be all that rare.
I'm pretty sure all mine came from The mines of Nurga. The zone is pretty much divided in half for drops, I think the blood drops much more commonly in the back half. You'll see a pretty obvious difference in the drops when you cross this invisible line in the zone. I forget what the common drop is in the front half but it gets rare in the back

In Nurga, basically find the sleeping ogre and kill allaround it and to the West. Ihave hunted there many times with my ranger. Also drops from the lower level mobs in Droga.

the day before the new hot zone patch almost every kill had a hearty goblin blood in the Mines of Nurga, since the new hot zone patch they drop rarely in the Mines. Think it's to force us to go to Temple of Droga? Is there a time of day when they drop more?

Confirm . . . basically, if it is green, it has a chance to drop it. It isn't limited to any particular type or named. So in that regard is like Green Goblin Skin and Mt. Death Mineral Salts.

Drops in Droga. Was near the Nurga entrance. Mobs are:
A goblin slinker
A goblin dirt defender
A goblin moss knight
A goblin flame adept
A goblin dust mystic

This item is used in Alchemy combines. There are at least 3 recipes in the new Alchemy tradeskill trophy tasks that use this.
So far I have not gotten it to drop in Frontier Mountains, I think that is a mistake. I did not get it to drop in Droga either as is listed in EQtraders.
Consistant drops are in NURGA. Head to the area where the Sleeping Ogre is. Mobs to look for are:
a goblin flamedancer
a goblin taskmaster
a goblin death caller
a goblin sneak
Drop rate is about 1 in 4 from these mobs.
Also confirm that there is a goblin mob in PoJ that drops it, but that is just one mob with at least a nine minute respawn and it doesn't drop all the time.
