Drake Eggs
# Oct 22 2002 at 1:54 PM Rating: Decent
I just started hunting the Tigeraptors. When I get in trouble, I hide in Skyshrine. While in there healing, I notices that I was foraging a ton of Drake and Wurm eggs, it wasn't a rare forage at all. My foraging is only at 167 too.

After discovering that, I realized that the components won't be hard to acquire at all.

Also, as to the viability of the armor, its excellent stats are perfect for a Fear kiter like myself. I'm planning on using this, along with a few pieces of Twilight armor to get my Str, Dex, and Wis pretty darn high for my level. As I always solo, and I always fear or DOT / Bow kite, I'm really not worried about the AC. If I get to a point where it does matter, I'll get myself a suit of Tolan's to keep in a WR bag, to whip out when nessecary.
What good is it???

Why go to all the trouble of making a suit of Tigeraptor armor, when the AC is so low? Wouldn't it be better to just get a set of Ivy/Rygorr/Seb, etc?

Its a shame the AC is so low (though understandable being leather after all)

Yes, the tigerraptor hides stack. Tailoring skill needs to be very high: expect greater than 90% failure rate with tailoring skill of 150.

For information on the tigerrators, click on the link to the left "beastiary by zone" then click on Wakening Lands.

Good luck finding those drake eggs. They are harder to obtain than the hides. To make these, you will need brewing skill, smithing skill and a way high tailoring skill.

Tigeraptors were light blue to me 90% of the time at lvl 49. The other times they were green. There is a group of six raptors near the skyshrine zoneline that I'm camping for hides. Just be warned. Tigersauros can also spawn there. These were deep blue.

These can be feared as well.

Good luck and good hunting.
Is the armor no-drop? are the tigeraptor hides no-drop?

I am hoping someone will tell me more information such as what levels are the tigeraptors, are the pelts no-drop, what level of tailoring skill is necessary, etc. any info?
