I don't know about the market to solusek worshipping wizards. I've been trying to sell rings marketed just to them...don't tend to get many takers, even when I lower the price to below cost...

I had one of these made today (July 18, 01) and it now includes Bards, ELF and HEF and people that can wear the ring. Stats are otherwise identical. I'll try to submit an updated screenshot.

For some reason, AllaKhazam still hasn't put the Imbued Platinum Fire Ring on the equipment lists yet. For anyone who isn't sure:
AC: +4 Str: -8 Int: +8 Fire Resist: +4 HP: +10 Mana: +45
Most wizards will only need one to approach or pass the 200 INT mark. With a STR ring on the other finger, the STR penalty isn't as bad. The 'Ring of the Goblin Lords' is an easily attainable match, adding STR, INT and AC all at the same time.

I was wondering if the metals were enchanted as well as the gems being imbued, and if not, would that make a superior piece?

You can buy fire opals via a quest in Solusk Ro. Finding the quest is left as an exercise to the reader. :-)

I've heard these are made from fire opals, hence VERY hard to obtain, and it's about time we got something good, even though it makes us not able to loot as much. :( I'll happily trade in my moonstones for these things, or better yet the plat ones! It is kinda crappy that they're not all/all, but FINALY verant made a mistake in our favor!

Fire Opals drop like mad in Sebilis and I am currently carrying a stack of 20 of them. I will be making 2 velium versions of these for my twink wizzy. Wow I am getting a benefit for worshiping Sol Ro.

Why not Magicians? They can scribe the spell, and imbue the gems, why can't they use the resulting jewelry? (those that worship Solusek Ro anyways)

PS: I assume the reason wizards get an imbue spell when no other pure spellcaster does, is while the other deities of Norrath all are worshipped by at least one healer class (Shaman, Cleric, or Druid) wizards, and only wizards, worship the mighty Solusek Ro. I also wonder about Veeshan....only bards worship her....does she have imbued jewelry, and if so, what is it?
