The UN-imbued platium diamond ring adds 7 to all saves, but gives no stats. If you're wearing one of these for the resists, you're better off with the unimbued version. Curious...
Well if resists are all you want, yes, the unimbued is slightly better. But for an extra 5 wis and sta, I think it's be worth it to sacrfice a mere 2 sv everything. Overall I'd still prefer the imubed version.
I asked jewerler in Gfay to make this ring for me, but she failed first time. She tried to make again and made it. I was happy and got this ring after paying her. But I couldn't wear this ring because of DEITY. Yes.. I am a daughter of Tunare. That made me crazy, I have been looked for cleric who could imbue diamond for a long time. I should have known this. All I can do is to sell this ring. stat is really great, I think this is best wis ring for Priest class. If u want to get this ring, but u are not follower of M,R, You can get Diamond wedding band which is dropped at Shadowtower in Ice clad. Nice stat too, but it is lore, so u can have only this ring.
I am gonna sell this ring for 1k, but is there someone to buy it?
Um, you'd best know the gem of your deity, hehe. Tunare is emerald (stats on imbued emerald jewelery aren't really worth making them, in my opinion). All items made out of imbued diamonds are Mithaniel Marr only.
And you're wrong, this ring is NOT lore, you CAN wear two of them (assuming you worship Mithaniel Marr). Unless you were talking about the TOFS ring.
With the resists, stamina, and wisdom, this makes a great item for clerics and palladins of Mithaniel Marr. Shamans too, for you froggie shamans out there.

Current market, diamonds sell for about 200pp. Platinum bars cost about 100pp. So I'd say 600 platinum (double cost of materials) if you supplied no ingredients. You supply all the ingredients yourself (including getting the diamond imbued) you could probably convince a jewelcrafter to do the combine for you for 100pp. Note that you'd need a 250 jewelcrafter to make this if you want a good chance at success.
I was quoted 700p with me supplying the imbued diamond, not the most looked for piece out there, so best to find a diamond and get it imbued, then go shopping for a jeweler. Seems that any cleric with the imbue diamond spell can do it, so the spell itself is not diety specific ( had a follower of Brell imbue mine ).
Um, you did NOT have a follower of Brell imbue the diamond, that I can guarantee you, becuase only Mithaniel Marr clerics (and shamans) can cast imbue diamond. The spell IS deity specific, don't know where you got the idea wasn't (the PoP imbue spells for raw diamonds are not deity specific, but all imbue spells for old world gems ARE).
However the religion of the person doing the jewelcraft combine is irrelevant; any jcer can make it, but only Mithanier Marr worshippers can imbue the diamond or wear the finished product.
Diety specific jewelry is so lame and stupid of verant. That locks out 95 to 98% of the people that could really use this stuff. As a cleric, I need my wisdom to help keep my mana pool up but also need resist. Why should only one diety that has like a 3% following get it?
Diety specific armor is one thing but jewelry is whole different thing.
You'll notice that the imbued jewelery has better stats that the equivalent non-imbued one. If this were made with a non-imbued diamond, it would be resists and nothing else; imbued, it also gives wis and sta.
Just like the armor, imbuing it gives better stats than it would have otherwise, to reward the followers of specific deities.
If it weren't for deity specific items, most people (who had that option for their race/class) would be agnostic for faction reasons. It's not stupid or lame.
verant made diety jewelry for a reason lenaras you may think its stupid to have it but then what would be the purpose of having dieties
seems your just jelous because you chose agnostic over mith mar im just POed that i cant seem to locate innorruuk jewelry for my SK and necro my wizard has some hella nice rings for solro wizards
I have read on another website( castersrealm) that this item adds also 5int, 5str, 5dex, 5agi, 5cha as well as the ones listed above. Can someone who actually has one of these rings plz tell me the corrrect stats? thanks much :)
You're likely confusing this with the diamond wedding band from TOFS, which I believe has those stats (either that, or Castersrealm did).
The correct stats for the imbued platinum diamond ring are 5 wis, 5 sta, 5sv all resists. Wt 0.1, all races, all classes, Mithaniel Marr worshippers only.
I saw the listing on castersrealm also, got all excited about this ring. I'm High Elf Mage, follower of M.M. and really wanted one. Guess it was too good to be true. . . I will assume the screenshot above to be more accurate that the listing in the database of casters.
Well you're right partially, imbued emerald jewelry is junk.
However some of the other deities have nice imbued jewelry; imbued black pearl, imbued ivory, imbued fire opal, imbued sapphire, imbued black sapphire, and of course, imbued diamond, are preety nice compared to the unimbued versions of the same jewelry (well no such thing as unimbued ivory jewelry, but you know what I mean).
sorry to burst your bubble but solusek ro wizards have a nice ring +4ac -8str +8int +10hp +45mp +4svf (though i think it should be more svf)
some may complain there is -8str well as a wizard i dont really need str but having two rings with 8int each and 45mp that certainly adds quite a bit to mana pool not all diety jewelry sucks
So far, this is the only diety specific jewelry that I would use, with the possible exception of Ruby. It's kind of odd how they make the religeous jewelry harder to get/make and then make it so much worse then the normal stuff.
Since it requires 2 sources of enchantment, you would think that they would make it better then something that requires only 1 source of enchantment.
