I always suggest that if characters are looking to run any tradeskill up, that they do the POR- Prophecy of Ro tradeskill quest as soon after skill 50 as they think of it and just equip for combines and let it evolve as you gain skills.

Does the % bonus stack with the spoon if you were to craft another one?

Tradeskill modifiers do not stack. The game uses the highest one you have equipped.

Just so it is clear, you CAN NOT get Denmother's Rolling Pin by simply doing the quest.

With a 300 skill in baking you will still get the level 6 Master Baker Trophy as your reward. To get Denmother's Rolling Pin you must first get your baking skill to 300, at that point your Master Baker Trophy will get evolving experience for combines that are 301 skill or higher. Once you've got enough experience to evolve your Master Baker Trophy to level 7, then it will change itself into Denmother's Rolling Pin.

Ack! Mistake! I was able to get to 12% after 100 combines. Since then, I've been stuck at 12%. I've combined 1000s of Broiled Raxil Fish, Oseka's Bounties, Misty Thickets with no improves! Ugh! Any ideas? Not sure what I am doing wrong. My baking skill is definitely 300 and I have the Level 6 Master Baker's Trophy.

Same thing happened to me...take it out of whatever slot you have it equipped in (mine was in the ammo spot). Reequip in say the Primary. This resolved the issue for me and it immediately started evolving again.

I am consistently getting 9% per 100 combines over 300 skill. At that rate still looking at another 800-900 final combines. Using the old school stay close as you can to the next step up, I'm using Beer-Based Brell's Bounty at 304 for my recipe. Since the skill never really goes up why bother with doing a bunch of sub-combines for Misty Picnics or Braxil fish when they are in the 330s? Dream meats are another option at 302(ish). Depends on what you have to work with.

Slow but steady. At the time of this writing: 45% on trophy or roughly 20-21% for 6/7.

This is cool that EQ is immortalizing Denmother like this. Her website is THE premire place to look up any tradeskill info. I can't imagine the time and effort she's put into maintaining that site but this is a well deserved.

Thank you Denmother,

From all of us who have benefited from your time and effort on eqtraders.com

/Hugs to Niami Denmother! I wouldn't know what a tradeskill was, and would be broke skilling up if it weren't for her! Does this make her like Tunare? Denmother of All?

Go Niami Go, First WTF Comics now this. You are part of EQ History. Haven't seen you in Rivervale in a long time. Hope all is well. Your site is still the best for tradeskill info.
