Dragons of NorrathKilled him 13 times last Saturday got 2 rods (one for me.. YAY!). Basically we get the ones that are doing the quest for the neck item. Once the first one arrives and is ready for the jailor, we start killing him. He dies, questor does turn in and then leaves raid. Gets port to lava does final turn in for the neck. Then he/she gets ported back to assist with the rest of the kills. The rest of the raid (non questors) rolls on the jailor's loot along with the questors.
This is a great way to get several upgrades for many guildies and we make it an all day event. Start around 10am and finish around 7PM.
We have folks that are familiar with the quest walk folks through it as they know where all the NPC's are and what to say. We create a common channel where that individual can tell them what to say each step of the way.
This makes things move along alot faster and smoother and also prevents folks from doing things out of order or not getting the to the final fight at the correct time.
Recommend any guild or group of friends take advantage of this guy's loot table.. It is well worth it if you can actually use the drops..

My guild does this quest weekly with 6 turn ins weekely. We went 10 weeks without a rod drop, then on week 11 we had 1 drop (as well as 2 cloaks). on week 12 we had 2 drop (and one belt). On week 13 no rod dropped. I'm hopping to see one soon as I have enough attendace to loot now, and this is my goal.

My guild , Broken Reality , Farm the furious jailer
Its a nice quest with a neck item (Blessed seeker pendant) as a reward for the quester , it has good stats and also FT5 and other stats/focus
It can be quested in about an hour , the boss mob of the quest also drops Dimensional imprisonment drops , and is nice and easy to kill. We farmed 8 in one night (Meaning 8 people got the neck item) and also we got 3 of these rods , 3 rings and 2 earrings.
This has an insane looking windmill graphic , never seen anything like it ever. Also i think my guild has the only 3 on the server as they are quite a rare drop

I wouldnt say that the rod is rare if u got 3 in 8 kills. You didnt even have the cloak, buckler or ring drop. It seems that the rod may be more common then some other drops of his.
