Does this thing still drop? Allak here says it drops off multiple mobs but I thought it was only dropped off of Master Yael. Anyone confirm that is drops of different mobs there now?
Has anyone had this item drop since revamp???

Its called an AE Warrior group.
Look it up. Come back when you've been enlightened. Learn about proc rates and what they are. you are a warrior after all and should know these things without needing a lowly ranger to point them out to you...I suggest the Steelwarrior (http://www.steelwarrior.org), the premier warrior class site cause they have all sorts of useful info you have apparently missed out on.

Gordaan have you read the thread? Have you done the math? Do you understand how proc rates work? Do you know what additional AA's these warriors had? Do you realize that the proc on the earthshaker is a pbae? Think about it. Rampage means you are hitting every mob around you. Flurry plus punishing blade means you are adding more swings on top of that. Ingenuity gives you the chance to do more damage on the proc. Getting slowed by the shaman increased the proc rate to between 80 and 90 percent. Everytime ES procs ALL the mobs around you get hit by the AE. When you rampage you hit everything around immediately.
50 mobs x .80 proc rate x 246 = 9840 of damage per mob almost instantly (remember the 246 is PBAE damage)
This watered down equation does not even take into account the additional possible damage from the above aa's. Now multiply 9840 x the number of warriors involved. Estimates for the amount of hps that the mobs in PoFire have are about 21k to 28k I believe. Still not a believer?

Master Yael is no more. This weapon no longer drops. Its dropper was removed from game.

Posted: Apr 29 2003 at 1:39 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Wow -- lol u musta read a post from me long long time ago, lol yeah Id never bring it on raids but...... 100pp or VT is kinda absurd fella seeing as its damn near a relic, and like the skellies or any mobs 50< in level at 60 or 65 one w decent hp to withstand blows or backstabs could clear a zone very easily by training yourself or MA equiped with it. No need to mez mobs when decent dex will make this SOB proc all day and good crits of 280-500 w this + haste + shaman buff dex to max + good 4-5k base hp, and i promiss u the mobs will drop in one round of atk.

I took this weapon into Kurns Tower as a level 47 Human ShadowKnight, hoping to farm bone chips to raise faction with Cabilis (I was already amiable with the Troopers, and Dubiously with all the rest, except Necromancers). A guildmate of mine (level 49 Iksar ShadowKnight) pulled the entire tower's undead populous, all down to the zoneline. Each time he did this he pulled about 40-50 various skellies. Two procs were enough to make the undead, re-dead, and farm all the pretty little bonechips to help my faction. I will be loaning the sword to him, and running a similar game on the Gnolls of Blackburrow, only I will pull for him.
Great weapon for faction farming, little use elsewhere, unless you have all sorts of haste on you.

This weapon definatly procs at 45. picked one up in bazaar for 150pp on tholluxe server. dly is slow but when my SK doubles for 151dam and then procs a 246 AE it makes for an awesome killing weapon.

Perhaps you should think in terms of a warrior. Get the level 59 aa skill of "rampage." When you have about 30 or more mobs in your area of attack, /discipline charge, followed immediately by activating the rampage ability. The discipline lands all hits, the ability lands hits on every mob in range. How many AoE procs for 249 at that time? Its the warrior AoE group.

This weapon should really be used with the discipline "Furious" (auto reposite) when pulling large amounts of mobs. This will bypass the 70 Delay and hit every mob as they attempt to strike you for 9 seconds. It will also give you 9 seconds of invulnerability, which I'm sure can be quite useful with that large a crowd. The weapon's proc is based on the amount of haste you have on your character, so the less haste you have (worn and casted), the more likely it is proc.

Procs aren't based on haste. Proc rates are affected by dex, and that's it. After a TON of parsing of weapons *shaman boards, warrior boards, monk boards, rogue boards*, it's been determined that haste has zero effect on procs. At any given level of dexterity, a weapon will proc at the same rate reguardless of if you are at max haste, at 36% haste, unhasted, or even slowed. Proc rates are based over time, not on number of attack swings, which is what haste affects. Therefore, your weapon will proc at the same rate *most common is 1 proc per minute, seems a Sony standard* when you are not wearing a haste item, as it will when you are wearing a haste item, have max chanter haste, and a bard playing haste song for you. For higher proc rates, max dexterity.

don't even need to /disc. procs can fire off of misses. rampage is a must though. still, the ONLY good use for this weapon is for big pulls when factioning. and to the above poster who said the ratio was amazing and doesn't suck.. 37/70 is not amazing. the titles on this site were put on either a bit before or after kunark went live. 37/70 may have been amazing at the beginning of kunark, but now it just sucks.

I have seen some posts on The warrior boards of warriors using this combined with the Rampage and Charge Disc to do some pretty awesome Damage in AE groups..
I picked one up for 2k .I sue it in AE groups and it works allright I basically just pull so it is nice to hactually contribute to the damage..There have been instances where I have proced 7 times in one pull and others where I never proced once..so it is hit and miss..but hwen oyu do proc 7 times it's pretty cool..Works well in the gnoll caves in JP where you can get like around 20 some odd gnolls in pretty close proximity and increase your damage by quite a bit..
I do not know the exact range on this but like most PB AE's you have to really work hard to get the mobs in a tight pack..

i think it goes without saying that this is a horrible weap to use in regular grps. can you say the words "add" and "mez break"?

This is the perfect weapon for the one melee in an AOE group. Imagine getting Boon of the Garou from one of your AE group chanters and having this proc 5-6 times in the fight. You'll almost equal the damage output of the wizards. Hope I can get it sometime.

There has been reports of people getting 15 to 20 procs in an AE group on a 50 to 60 mob pull. Do the math, it's a LOT of damage :)

rampage makes you hit every mob near you, so every hit you have a chance to proc... so if you hit 40 mobs you might proc 5-6 times in that ONE round.
Of course that trick only works once in 10 minutes cause the reuse time of Rampage is ... less than average.
how many pulls does and AE group do in 10 minutes?

very nice for AE groups in Seb and FG or other places where the melee would otherwise only pul and basically do no real dmg at all during the fight compared to 2 wizzies when attacking the 20+ mobs :)

heh i like it.. i get my 58 chanter friend to haste me and a random shaman to buff me and i hit for about 150 with it.. i got a crit of 422 with it =) IMO with haste its really nice weapon.. i traded some stuff for it i didnt need.. a crappy SK weapon/sheild and a 1000pp staff thingy.. good trade i thought.. BTW if you really wanna have fun with it go get high str and whack at a skellie HEHE ..im out.. see yah
