Depths of DarkhollowI have the loot off Drentik the Mad with "minion of eternity", and it works just fine on all of my shaman pets. While not as potent a focus for the other classes, and a lack of experimenting with this particular pet focus(minion of dischord), it does produce the most power pet possible for me every time, and I suspect it tampers with other effects on the pet as well, such as attack, and to a minor extent, some hitpoints and relative base value statistics.
My pet seems to land quads a bit more frequently as well, and loged dps through yaulp show this to be fact, not fiction.
Therefore, if the intent by SoE to remove this aug since being a pet focii of all/all status to preserve pet class focii for only pet classes, this would be, and is, incorrect.
It is quite possible however,that at the time of this expantion, this were to be the case, but to all my fellow shaman rejoice, as it is no longer.

Unfortunately, pet focuses do not work on shaman pets. Its been proven, and beyond that even directly stated by devs. Sorry to disappoint you though, it would be nice if they did affect our pets.
Ok so when do they expect we'll be able to make this?
It was posted on EQ Traders by Ngreth Thergn - SoE Dev and House Ogre of EQTC on Jan. 8, 2006 that this particular Bazu Seal is currently not attainable in game.

Bazu Seal of Companions has pet power focus: Minion of Discord.
All other pet focus gear in game that I know of is restricted to MAG, BST, NEC. No focus items for SHM pets. However, the above aug is listed as All/All for class/race. Does this mean SHM can finally get a pet focus aug? Can anyone confirm?

From what i've seen, all Bazu Seals are ALL/ALL. I havent seen the link for that one in-game personally, but from all the others, none had restrictions. I hope that helps

the seal would be all/all but the focus would probly only work for the Beastlord Necromancer Magician classes.
the focus would work for any class actually, which is why this aug and the other ones with pet focus effects were removed from the game .
