Navigator Hobbson
encountered the remains of
a shiliskin this morning
(Well, 'morning' judging by
the cycle of the automated
chores of our clockworks,
but really, who can tell in
this place?).
Interestingly enough, the
corpse had a small piece of
| coral on in its possession.
At first, Hobbson pocketed
the coral and thought
nothing of it, but now,
resting back at our camp,
he has the distinct
impression that the coral
is listening to our
conversations. He believes
it is alive. Personally, I
think we are all slowly
losing our minds down here.

| None the less, a field
test was in order. My
research did reveal that
there is some kind of
telepathic property
associated with this little
creature, but it's near
impossible to determine
exactly what it is.
