Yesterday I saw this plant launch a seed right into the forehead of a shiliskin. The spore then appeared to transform the shiliskin into a zombie! The plant feeds off the decaying bodies of its victims while simultaneously using them as guards against potential predators. Brilliant! What's even better is that the plant only seems to affect shiliskin so I was free to conduct my research without risk to myself, which was most fortuitous.
