They have quite the nerve to put it on such a high lvl mob, call it "Mask of the Dragon Slayer" and dole out such measley resists.
It's a great face piece, but for the lvl mob, the grandiose name, I think they could have not been so stingy with the resists and made it +10 at least.

Primary stats for an enchanter item: AC, charisma (big debate over it's effectivness but I like cha =) and hp. Still, if I were leading the raid I'd probably give into my conscience and award this to a monk...but you folks have no idea how much AC makes an enchanter, the pure caster class that gets beat on the most, that is in fact REQUIRED to get beaten on, drool. As with the tranix crown this seems like a bard/monk/enchanter item.

I could point out a better face piece, in my opinion. Its the inc mask that you get from the temple of sol ro quest. I may only be 40, but I find that mixing int and cha is better than straight boosts of one of the stats. But you may see things differently.

My int and cha has been maxed for a long time (and I mean 200int 255cha) AC becomes your prime concern after that, especialy when you start using rapture and dictate for crowd control or playing shaman when there's none available. We are pure casters required by nessecity to cast high agro spells (tash, charm, mez and slow) at the very begining of fights, before the tanks start taunting.

How are saves and hit points a point for tanks?
Saves are for everyone - hp are for everyone. This item should go to anyone who would USE it.

I agree totally that this is an everyone item...but being an enchanter it is a damn fine piece...AC, HPs, CHA + saves..OMG

Definetely a very versatile piece of gear. I am a monk myself though nowhere near this item...
If these start dropping like flies, then the whole troupe of classes can begin haggling over who gets on, but the happiest guilds and high lev's I have met are those who do not go by rolling and battling it out for items, but who pick them amidst themselves for the people most deserving of them.
I may be right and I may be wrong, but I would bet this went to a monk.

Every one has there veiws on who would be best for this mask, and it does help all classes but some more then others.
1. Monk all i have to say is weight ac agl
2. Rogue str (bs) and agl
3. Bard str cha
4. Chanter this may sound weird to pout ahead of tanks but with as little hp as they have the extra 50 is alot even higher up plus cha and str also helps them alot sence generally they are wimps
as for other classes melee it is pretty good cept for the postive cha if your meat sheild you want to kill your cha as low as it can go (crustation armor) then any caster sence the hp is a big deal and so is str sence they are pretty pancy in those two areas.
this mask in general rules the saves help anyone as does excellant ac for the slot it goes to.

A mask with 15 AC and .8 wt. Monks should form a line to the right, and make sure you are level 55+ by the time you get to Lord Yellinik.

Wow, not only Ranger, all melee class like it. AC15 also best for main like War, Shd and Pal. Main tanks should have one.

In fact, something should with great str but bad weight is for all tanks cept monk, something with wis is for priests and ranger and paladin, something with cha is for chanter, something with int is for casters and sk, something with dex is for bards... I just don't understand it when an item is all/all, has no wis, and is low weight, and someone says "can you say ranger mask!"... of course this is great for a ranger! but we know that! its great for all melees and others too.

as a monk i would love this mask and yes other melees would like it to but this mask would make any monk knock over there mother to get one
