the bone collector is on west side of the lake, and his cords are -101.94, 34.36, -19.95 at least that's was were i stood n did the /loc. he was right in front of me. mippie is at the zone in from rivervale, just start to walk into the zone n shell be sitting on the ground to the right side of rock wall cant miss her. the npc who you collect candy 4 is easy to find to. after you talk to mippie, walk out n turn irght. go to the corner of the zone. there are 2 npc.'s standing there , the one u want is the dude in the robe. the little halfling that you geta task from is over by the commonlands zone in area. he standin by the rock wall behind the building with merchants Darvon and Grace.

Well I must Say that even thought the post on here for the walk through on this are pretty old there still accurate. I haven't Had any problems with the tasks so far. The Chef though for collecting you candy is on the 3rd Island in Ice Clad and he is yes in a igloo. He is sitting on his knees and is clearly marked by name. I have completed 2 tasks so far. I hope to get this done for my Level 75 enchanter before the patch takes it out until next year. I went to do the dressed up half-ling today. A friend of mine said I shroud shroud down to level 25 to be able to go to Castle Mistmoore, to kill the Bloody vampire. I went to pok and got into a level 25 fairy trickster shroud. And ran back to Kithicor Forrest to get the task. on my way there i thought how cool would it be if i could get this task n go to pok and remove the shroud to make it go faster. i tried and it worked. I gated back to the shroud keeper, removed the shroud went to the castle mistmoore grave yard, killed the vampire, looted him, got task ud and gated to the hal fling becuse I had bound my soul right next to him for faster completion. Love being a enchanter. hope this helps. ill continue to add more to this post as i progress if it seems it will help.

i agree this needs alot of updating. the halfling costume task, bone collector and the god are all group tasks. but i was able to do the costume one by myself.
I don't know about previous years, but there are no ground spawns near the "gerbils" in DN. After fruitless hours of searching, I commented to my group "Wouldn't it make more sense to find it amongst the bones near the entrance?"

The ground spawns are down near the rat things too, they don't look like little bags or anything, instead they are little sparkly areas on the ground.
I looked in both places and did not find any. Anyone found them somewhere else in zone?
EDIT: The "object" is not an object at all but an aura of gold orbs coming up from the floor. Clicking the aura gives you the skull. I did not find any auras on the top floor so I went to the hallways of the Chertaki. In one of those tunnels is where I found the gold aura.

Strange that you guys didn't see the little ground spawn items like I did. Conversely, it's odd I didn't see any gold sparkles or orbs that gave me the bone when clicked on.

Cathil and A Silly Puppet: PoP God Mission
There is a guy with a puppet in Kithicor. Talk to the guy first and follow the prompts. Turnin one ticket (and you don't get it back) to the guy. A screen pops up and you have to decide what God each of u is gonna be. Choices are Ellrosi Marr (Cleric), Rallos Zek (War), Tunare (Drood), Terris Thule (Chanter), Bertox (Necro) and Cazic Thule (SK). Hail the halfling and say...ummm....a keyword.
Note: it seems only one person needs to have and give the ticket. Not everyone has to have finished a quest previously.
Once you do that, there is a minute or two before you re-zone into Kithicor near the Rivervale entrance. get up your keys and make sure you have what you need. Each God's special abilities are in the AA windows so you need to make hotkeys, get out your pet (Bertox) etc. Also get your melee keys setup cause u gonna need em. The gods are less than i had hoped (i wanted to be RZ's height hehe). Your gearless (but got bandages....wooot) and the size of halflings (haha sucka's!). Note: make sure to med every chance you have.
There are (might be off on this) 3 waves. First one is 20 mobs and the boss. Second is 2X20 mobs and X2 bosses. They will come in separate waves. Third is 3X20 and X3 bosses. Make sure not to blow your special abilities on adds and get the bosses down fast. You don't have much mana so use it when it counts. I was Bertox and found a well placed AE or two would take out a wave eventually, living long enough is the trick.
If you die, there is a pause, rezone and you come back just outside of the area your fighting in. You recover mana and hp (but nerfed everytime down a bit (like 50hp/50mana to 40/40 etc). I might be off on the numbers but u don't go back full health/mana. So, if u run oom, human sacrifice (well timed) might be the key.
Anyhow, live through this and boss mob drops a shield (30AC 110hp or somthing like that). You have to loot the shield (no drop) to complete the mission. Give it a minute or two and you will rezone into Kithicor.
Tasks can be done in any order.
After completing ALL 5 quests, go back to the NPC in the PoK and use the Illusion potion you were given and hail the goblin in order to get the final reward!!!

so what is the quest to get this mask or is it not avialble in 2006?
the BEST spot to farm pumpkin flesh/seeds is in west commons, along the wall where the dev and orc camps were are 2 full camps of scarecrows, probobly around 12 total
Don't Forget to get your trick or treat bag first before starting this quest because you will visit a lot of destination you need while doing other quests in this mission.

Just did the shroud thing for both the bone collector and the MM.
worked fine all in group of 3 or more has to be shroud to within 10 lvls of each other.Also this can be shard if the person is shrouded to the correct lvl.

Do you have to do the monster mission before Ribshard (in PoK) will let you advance in the script? All my char's keep getting is "go talk to the two npc's then come back to me wearing a costume" (something to that effect).

Don't know, but it seems using the shroud trick was nerfed. Tried it on three different characters and none of them were able to advance through the script with Zigan Ribshard. Going to try it the hard way with a little help from my friends.
Don't know why it didn't work for you. It worked for my 3 mains and 5 alts. All of the did the blah blah with Zigan unshrouded. Then for both the bone and vamp subquests, they (and everyone on their grp) would shroud to 30.
The toon who was getting the quest would be 30 goblin rogue so that he could hide/sneak thru the dangerous parts of the trip to the quest giver.
As soon as the quest was in everyone's window, it was safe to unshroud. Some toons would unshroud, some would not, just depended on who was going to do the quest steps and who was just leaching. The final turn-ins were done unshrouded too as the quest programming did not seem to care. Both vamp and the skell construct ended up being low level gimps being killed by my 65+ toons.

Upon doing this, there was a member of my guild that had to do a portion of the quest more than once. Was not only frustrating for him, but of those of us that were working with him. I really don't understand why a hand in works for everyone but one person and I know for fact, he did the same thing I did, cause I was there.

Use the clicky and destroy the mask then hailing the gobin. Does work for upgrading it I just did it ty tees was 1 lvl shy last year of geting the max stat VS. BTW name of goblin mob is (zigan ribshard).

This item's been out a while I know, but who cares. If you have a lower version of this mask and tehn leveled up a bit, you can get the version designed for your level. Take off any augs that you want to keep and then find the goblin in the PoK. They've left him in there near the FoB stone. Now equip the mask and click it for the illusion. Now this is the part where you all are gonna call me full of it and start to flame but I don't really care. Once you've got the illusion on, DESTROY your old mask. Now just hail him and you will get a new mask. This works with any illusion, I just used the mask Illusion since it was there. If you don't believe me, get an illusion and go hail him. If you've done the quest before he'll give you text about your costume being nice and him giving you a mask.
The weight of all the "Bone Mask of Horror" series was reduced to 0.1 with yesterday's patch.

for this you can turn in 5 of the same thing you dont have to make each different item just make whatever is convient for you. Everything can be store bought except for Pumpkin Flesh and Handful Of Pumpkin Seeds which are dropped off animated scarecrows in WK (this is the easier place i found where to farm. There are 4 that spawn in the field 3-5min repop timer) i've seen them in Unrest too if you're already there doing the "Trick or Treat" mission.

Not sure if you can kill named 1st in each wave we killed all the trash then the name.

Pumpkin Shake is combined in a "Ice Cream Churn" which is tinkered, a pain in the *** to make (lots of sub combines), and 275 trivial for the final tinkering trivial. Making the shake is ez once u have the churn...

Poil Lolp is NOT only on the west side. I have found him twice at the back of the eastern cave.

Note; (1)Shroud down to 30 to get the mission, unshroud to do them.

(3)Take Felwithe stone to Greater Faydark, run through Lesser Faydark to Castle Mistmoore, go to the Graveyard, clear yard spawns, sit with your back to the Crypt door, (the little building with the locked door) A Bloody Vampire will aggro you through the door! No need for a key! ABV has about 10 Bats for pets, caused a bit of lag for some. Loot Cape and fangs.

(6) Only one person in your group need collect the chips, so send one to each location! Group will get credit!

Dying in shroud form DOES make you lose exp. But you only lose the amt of exp that a player of the shrouded level would. So if you're lvl 70+ and die as a lvl 30 shroud you'll lose so little EXP it's barely noticeable.
But all shrouds have a Gate ability (Spirit Sending) so there's really no need to kill yourself to get back to PoK fast.

Great writeup. Just did this today and wanted to add a few small things that aren't mentioned:
When doing the 'trick or treat' part of the quest, NPCs will sometimes give you "gag" prizes instead of candy. (I've gotten Lump of Coal, Pocket Lint and just plain Sand). If you simply say 'trick or treat' to them again they'll say that they already gave you a treat and to come back later. What you need to do is either zone out and back in, or camp out and back in and try again.
ALL NPCs in the 'trick or treat' part are trackable. If I remember correctly, previously they were not trackable. This means having a druid with you (for ports and tracking) will make this part of the quest about 50x faster.
To get to Wraps McGee in Befallen you can just have a high enough rogue shroud pick the door to him. Don't forget to get a set of Lockpicks to use. They are sold on vendors; look them up.
When doing the 'Bloody Vampire' part, the lvl 30 version pops in the mausoleum in the graveyard in Mistmoore. The door is locked but you can just stand next to it and he'll come and attack you.
When doing the 'Bone Collect' part, the lvl 30 version requires you to get 4 Bone Chips from Kurn's (takes 5 minutes, 4 of them to get there), 4 Bone Chips from Befallen (ditto), and 2 Warbone Chips from Unrest. The Warbones are a pain and took me almost an hour to get even though I was clearing about 2/3 of the house from basement to roof (the other 1/3 was being cleared by other people). I got one off a barbed bone skeleton in the basement and one off the undead knight of Unrest (the guy that drops Bloodstained Pauldron).
The MM mission: mostly pretty easy. I did it with a friend each of us boxing three characters. Some general hints: The ENC (Terris) is pretty useless. Her mez takes forever to cast and doesn't last very long. I did the Shroud-down to get the Mistmoore mission for the Dressed-up halflings quest. Shroud down to a 30 level mob, get the mission, un-shroud, go to Mistmoore, mob you want is inside the graveyard Crypt, a bloody vampire, Clear graveyard, Sit against the crypt door with your back to it, and mob will aggro you through the door, no key needed! He's not bad, has about 12 Bats with him. Cleric did earthquakes to clear them. Loot Cape and Teeth. Head back to Kithicor, do turn in. You get a Bistlebane card and a Harrowing Black Silk Cape.

How do you get MM mission ? =)
You get the MM from 'a silly puppet' which is along the road in the north-centerish part of the zone. After you find him, give him a Bristlebane's Admission Ticket. You get the ticket for completing any other of the four parts of this quest. Only one person in the group needs to hand in a ticket, and yes completing the MM flags EVERYONE in the MM.

I have a cleric at 62, and a shm at 59 who are ready to do the turn in for this quest, but trying to figure out what is the minimum level to get the max stat mask?
Is it 65?
Has anybody completed at 60-65, and if so what was your reward - please list level at time of turn-in.
Trying to decide if should level them up a bit before turning in prior to event ending on the 14th.

I don't think you'll get the highest mask unless you hit 65, within the next day.
You should recieve the Solid and the Calcified, or both Solids, don't really think you'll get the highest one at 62, but hey, there very little difference between the 2 top highest ones. You're still going to be able to be a Skelly even though you're not a Chanter, Necro, or Sk.

I really enjoyed doing this quest, and it's obvious the developers put a lot of time into it, but the final reward could have been a bit better.
I am sure this mask was an upgrade for many people (it was for my alt), but for me I already had better. This mask was not an upgrade. And, as a level 70 Shadowknight I have no need of a skeleton illusion since we can pretty much do that at will. I would liked to have seen the Jack-o-Lantern illusion instead...anything but a skeleton.

not every itmes an upgrade, and if u don't like reward then why did u do qquest? A tons of classes can't get skelly ill so it's kewl for them. Sk's can go do others things if u don't like the mask.......It has good stats and nice ill. Anway, i for one think mask is great, what is sony supose to do anyway, give u a mask with 1k and pumpkin ill or something to mak ya happy?
I have heard (and Guildee) has that you get this as hte final reward when you are Level 65 at the time of doing the final Hail in PoK
