will this aug proc on attack or apon being struck by a mob if it is in a armor slot? it seems maybe it may be a defensive proc if it goes in armor just wondering if anyone knows that has this because i have never seen a aug with a proc that can go in more then weapon slots?

this item dropped as well as an augment Corrupted Netherstone Amulet in a mission
I don't own this, nor have I seen the item linked within EQ. However Allakhazam has listed the aug as primary/secondary/ranged only. The image does indeed list all item slots under the aug, though this looks to have been an error, which has since been fixed.
We got this as chest loot at the end after we killed the 10 mobs. We were doing the normal level mission where the final mobs hit for 1600-1800, and got the corresponding cavefish goggles when complete.

then u need use ur iron head to hit mobs ... wait new melee AA release out to be like it pls ..

I personally tested the augment in my neck, hands and feet and it did NOT proc. I did not does a complete test in every slot as I was removing type 15 & 16 augs to do this experiment and it was costing more than I cared for, but it's fairly safe to say the answer to this question is no! (>:)
I submitted a bug report on the issue today to either fix it so that it DOES proc in non-weapon slots or to stop teasing us and change the slots it can be inserted to only weapon slots.
Obviously I'd prefer the former, but you know how Sony is.....

What item in the game procs that's not on a weapon? (Proc is not the same as Insta-click) Isn't Proc by definition weapon only? Common sense should be greater than missed itemization slots if you're at the level of the game to get this IMO

yes.....but only in the DUMBASS slot, i believe you have one of those.
