Current bazaar prices range from 250 to 1000 plat on bertox server.... Used to craft fine vellum parchment (spell research trivial 216) along with celestial cleanser (player crafted only) and fine vellum parchment solution (515 plat)...

A witheran, a witheran feeder. Now that I am level 80, killing of these very irritating pests is quicker, and I have about four in two or so hours of killing. This is definitely the place to go for them.
I needed Grimy Fine Vellum Parchment for crafting a spell, and wasn't sure if it is a DODH expansion wide drop or not. So, I killed a bunch of drachnids and witherans in Stoneroot Falls, some drachnids in the hive, and a few miscellaneous mobs that dared to get in my way. No luck there. So I looked at the list of mobs who dropped Grimy Fine Vellum Parchment and noted that many of the mobs that drop it are in instanced or raid zones, raid mobs themselves, or groupable mobs level 70 and up. Vergalid is frequently multipulls of high sixties mobs, so I decided to try undershore for ragepaw howlers. They are an uncommon mob in the ragepaw area, but I did get one Grimy Fine Vellum Parchment from one of the ten or so howlers I killed. And all but one of them were LB to level 75, implying a level of at least 60 for the majority of a ragepaw howler. Most of them that I remember, (maybe all) were of a brownish color, and not of the more commonn greyish color. I pulled the ragepaws from the western edge of the ragepaw area, near to the instanced zone line. If you succeed in training yourself on a pull, running for the Stoneroot falls zone line may not work, as they seem to stun me more from behind. Good luck.

For spell researching, you combine Grimy Fine Vellum Parchment Celestial Cleanser, and Fine Vellum Parchment Solution in a spell research kit. To make a Fine Vellum Parchmet. Which then can be used to research a 64 spell for any class given the correct components.
