Last time, SPELLS HASTES DO NOT STACK.....if a little icon appears in your buff box that means that even if there is another buff in the box that adds haste only the one with a higher haste percentage is doing anything (except bard songs which can exceed the haste cap....which makes 3 exceptions to this rule)
Once again: The HASTE portion of the monk epic will NOT stack with the HASTE porton of another haste spell, with 4 bard songs as exceptions. Those exceptions are the Ervaj and Vah Shir lines.
For thouse of you who stil don't understand I'll ty another example:
The results of this stacking would be: 24AC, 40AGI, 53ATK, 66% haste NOTE THAT THE BEST HASTE WAS USED. THEY DO NOT ADD! Captain Nalots Quickening is useless in this case!
The results of this stacking would be: 34AC, 40AGI, 53ATK, >>71%<< haste
Why 71% haste? Because the best haste would be used. In this case 66% from enchanter epic, and the 5% from the Ervaj line of bard song that does stack on other spell haste.
Unfortunately the haste songs, such as Johnathons whistling warsong and indeed the monk epic do not stack with spell/song haste - with the exception of the two bard song lines above.
Well, actually its not strictly true - the spells/songs do not overwrite, but thats because Johnathans Whistling Warsong and monk epic song both have an AC and ATK element which does stack. However the haste element does not.
Melody of Ervaj (level 50) Group: Increase Haste (5%) Description: stacks with all other Bard haste songs..does NOT take you over the haste cap.
Composition of Ervaj (level 60) - the upgrade Group: Increase Haste (10%) Description: stacks with all other Bard haste songs..does NOT take you over the haste cap.
Battlecry of the Vah Shir (level 52) Group: Increase Haste (15%) Will Exceed Haste cap.
Warsong of the Vah Shir (level 60) - the upgrade Group: Increase Haste (25%) Will Exceed Haste cap.
Well used Haste song ( group ) from a Bard at level 60 = Mcvaxius' Rousing Rondo (23 percent)
The calculations..(based on spell haste stacks with song haste .. this is stated in more places then the argument that it doesn't .. and personally I believe it does, but I will not argue that point here.)
All calculations are multi-group encounter setups assume enchanter 60 epic equipped and bard 60 are present.
Player with Item haste:
Item + enchanter + Composition + Warsong. 41 + 66 + 10 + 25 = 85 + 25 ( all haste is ignored after 85 except the song that exceeds the cap) = 110 haste.
Item + enchanter + Warsong 41 + 66 + 25 .. still equals 110 It comes to a point for a bard not to worry about haste other then the one that exceeds the cap.. you can only "normal" haste players up to 85!
Player without Haste item
Enchanter + Rondo + Warsong 66 + 23 + 25 = 110
Item But no enchanter ... lol Item + Rondo + Composition 41 + 23 + 25 = 89
There are higher percent haste songs , but at this level, it is hard to believe a player would not have a haste item / bard / chanter OR shaman helping them get to the haste cap of 85. There are also a couple items that stack with other item haste similiar to the Ervaj line of haste.
Again, will not argue the fact spell and song haste stacks..that is a whole other thread.
