If bard hastes stacked with all shammy/chanty hastes, then why would they add songs at lv 50 and 60 which are 5% and 10% respectivly, which DO stack with other spell hastes? You mean to tell me, they add a 10% haste song at lv 60 with no stats or we could just twist in anthem (lv 10, same haste but with stats)? The ONLY reason you get both icons is most all bard hastes have stats along with them, THAT is what you are getting, not the haste along with it. But whoever you believe, ignorance is bliss I guess
Hmm, I don't know of any lvl 60 bard song with only 10% haste, but if there is it is most likely a song that can raise your haste above the cap. If that's the case VI isn't going to allow you to go too far over the cap. The extra song haste is good if your maxed by spell and perm item haste.
Permanent Haste stacks with either one Song or one spell... not one song and one spell. There are a few exceptions to the rules, bards. We have two songs that stack with another song/spell.
Melody of Ervaj - Level 50 Group Increase AC(10), Haste (5%) -- This song does stack with other haste song/spells.
Composition of Ervaj - Level 60 AC(10), Haste (10%) -- Also stacks with other haste song/spells.
Battle Cry and Warsong of the Vah Shir are also stackable haste. However, these two songs allow you to not only stack with a haste song/spell... they allow you to pass the haste cap.
In closing, Vilias's Chorus of Celerity doesn't stack with Speed of the Shissar... but Melody/Composition of Ervaj and Battle Cry/Warsong of the Vah Shir will stack.
The stats may stack, but the haste doesn't. You may show two icons of haste songs/spells, but that could just mean that the stat bonus is stacking (AC,DEX,STR,AGI,ATK) not the actual haste.
Anyway, considering the AC, STR , and AGI bonus given by VoV (level 50 combat & haste song) amplified with level 30 Aplification, I say : let's sing it even if the haste part of it doesnt stack :b
