I'll send in an updated image when I get a chance. Just got this item and can report that yes indeed, there is no deity restriction. Also, the haste proc is just that. The item reads "Effect: Haste (combat)"
Merch offered me 180 for it, but I'm holding. Either for my war who I previously stripped to level my necro or for selling in the bazaar with my merchant.
I have 1 of these on my agnostic VahShir warrior. No deity restriction on my axe but thats not saying the ones that are now dropping dont have a restriction. Hope this helps you:)
Ok, here's the real deal on haste items i.e FRSS, FBSS, SCH etc... 1) It DOES stack with ONE other haste SONG and ONE other haste SPELL but i does NOT stack with another item(2 haste songs dont stack, 2 haste items dont stack, 2 haste spells dont stack) 2)it does NOT increase your delay, it increases the number of times you hit for example, a 20 percent haste item increases the number of times you hit the MoB by 20 percent 3)I Practically Live in Gfay and i know prices, SCH are around 5-6k (on Xev) FBSS for around 3-5k (on Xev) 4)It is NOT a proc or triggeredm it is permanint, meaning, you DO NOT right-click and you DO NOT fight to make it work, you equip the item with haste on it and the haste is automatically incorperated with your fighting (refer to number 2) 5) The Effect does NOT show up where your normal buffs show up, it just doesn't, if you are wearing it, then we asume you are smart enough to figure out that it is automatuically on (refer to number 4) 6)Becuase you are wearing it, you may not be able to tell the difference because (hopefully unless insane) you dont count strokes on which you strike your oponent but there IS a BIG difference
I Hope The REAL DEAL has helped you guys out, i hope this will clear up any misunderstood things and rumors or myths

I'm just curious where he got MoB from. Considering it's supposed to be just Mob or if you like MOb because it stands for Mobile Object. Perhaps you think it means Monster or Beast =P
He means that 20% haste doesn't mean 20% delay reduction... IE a 100 delay weapon won't drop to 80 delay.
And there seems a lot of debate over spell/song haste stacking. I don't know the truth either way, but I'd always heard a maximum of 2 hastes will stack, and there is a maximum amount of haste you can have based on your level. Would be interesting to test it on a low level chanter haste and a low level bard haste with no haste item on a bard only wielding one weapon (bards don't get double attack except for AA ability, if I remember rightly)
People may be mistaking the whole "song and spell don't stack" for the level-based haste restriction, or the fact that they're wearing an item haste already.
Again, not saying I know for sure what the deal is. Just curious why so many people say it does and so many say it doesn't. And I'm talking about the haste, not the stat boosting aspect of the haste.
Just to correct some inaccurate information for any who come upon this...
Regular bard haste DOES NOT stack with spell haste. There is a select few high level bard songs that can stack with regular spell haste, but that's an exception.
However, you CAN have the icon for a spell haste and the icon for a spell haste. However, only the highest one takes effect -- they do NOT stack. You can still get the other effects from the song or spell (like str, atk, whatever), but only the highest haste will take effect.
Also, haste increases you swings per amount of time. 100% haste means you swing twice as many times as normal. If haste meant delay reduction, then 100% haste would be 0 delay and that would mean you could kill any mob instantly, in essence.
It's a bit complicated, but trust me... 100% haste doesn't decrease delay by 100%, but doubles your number of swings.
Sry this is off the subject but i couldnt resist saying something. You are the FIRST person on my server that I have EVER seen post. Has Xev become unpopular?
First of all, it DOES proc, and the level is 30. Secondly, (I'm not going to act like a know-it-all here) haste decreases your delay, causing you to swing more often. It DOES NOT increase the number of times you hit....you can stick haste on a level 1 character and have him wiff his heart out at anything. He will be taking more swings, but won't hit. Yes, a by-product of swinging more is hitting more, but haste doesn't directly affect the hitting aspect, only the ATTEMPTED hit (a.k.a swinging).
Hope they let you out of the mental institution soon.
I'll have to respectfully disagree with Tullik. This weapon does PROC, it's not automatically always on. If that wasn't so, my 18 Warrior wouldn't get the old "Your will is not sufficient enough.." message as far as I know. Now the real question is: At what lvl does it proc?
In fairness to Tullik, they may have changed this weapon. I also agree with Pakren, that this is the same thing as lowering the delay.
Some weapons proc a haste effect (executioners axe) and some are permanent (Mithril Two hander). There are also right-clickable ones (ashenwood spear). You must remember, however, that all are level controlled in some way. You may not be able to proc a weapon, or feel the full effect of a permanant item (like a velium swiftblade) until you reach a certain level. Check out www.magelo.com for specifics on your item. Hope this helps
According to description above the effect is random. Random haste items work like spell haste and therefore it wouldn't stack with a spell or song (assuming the description is correct). However, such an effect would stack with the FBSS.
Ok how is it possible to affect the number of times you swing and not affect the delay. Possibly think about it this way that the Damage bonus from that weapon is calculated first then the haste. The fact that it does effect the number of times you get a chance to swing is not argued it is just that that is what your Delay is the length of time that it takes for you to be able to swing again. So in all truth it does effect your delay, jsut certain things are calculated before the delay is.
Haste DOES decrease your weapon delay. But it does NOT decrease it by the haste %...if you take 1/2 the haste % (ex. Silver chitin hand wraps are 22%...half if this is 11%) that HALF of the haste % is the delay reduction. If you have max haste at 100% (just for example sake) then you will reduce your weapon delay by exactly half. If you are over haste cap with the bard or berserker haste, then it will redue it even further. And remember...there is a minimum weapon delay...no haste can take you lower than that. (used to be 10...never had a parsed delay of less than 10 even with 110% haste.)

I thought this was the best weapon i could get for a long time, especially sence i got it for free from a good friend. After about a month after i had this axe i got a Tempered Veliuom Sword from a friend that let me use it and then he quite the game for good, so i got to keep it )
This weapon is just too slow for me. Now you may say, why does that matter when it has a pretty high damage. Well the reason is my lvl 30 warrior has soloed for the majority of his life, and continues to do so (by being very selective of hunting areas :)
So while soloing you know you have no heals coming, it is nice to have a weapon that hits about this hard, but faster, for me that is the new Blackened Alloy ******* Sword.
I have heard great things about this axe and was wondering when to get it? I also have yet to train in 2hs, I was wondering when i should do so and to what extent plz help me!!!!!!!!
Best time to start training any weapon skill is level 1! You never know when you're going to come across a good weapon, like this one, and will want to have the weapon skill to use it. To raise any fighting skill (except for archery and throwing) the enemy has to con at least light blue to you. So don't put it off, it only gets harder, becuase you have to fight enemies that give you exp, and doing so with a weapon you have little or no skill in gets more dangerous the higher level you are. Warriors could probably get away with overlooking blunts, but at the very least, keep your 1hs and 2hs skill up. Buy a cheap 2hs and start training it NOW. Use any practice points you have to help speed up the process.
Well it sorta is wrong, the thing is, its an old picture of the axe, over time some weapons change in the way they look, sorta like the Yak and this baby right here, and yes its Lore now and Yes the picture did change, and yes it does look a lot cooler now )

you guys are pretty dense..he asked how much haste it gives..not what level..not how many times...jesus christ go back to elementary school and learn to read
This axe is awesome I bought it in freeport the other day and got a pretty good deal(200pp and a sarnak great cleaver for it.) Anyway its great I'm a lvl 25 barbarian warrior with 121 strenth and I hit for anywhere between 40 and 65 points of damage on a regular basis with this bad boy. I can't wait till I hit 30 and it procs!
Yes and No. If you have a FBSS or other perm haste item, this axe would be better. The proc will stack with any other perm haste item your wearing. If you don't have another haste item, than the mithril 2hander will be better.
actually, that is not true. As verant has stated, spell haste stacks, item haste doesnt. The highest perm haste item is counted. therefore, perm haste items wont increase the effectiveness of the weapon, since they are counted as item haste and the proc is considered a spell haste.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't you just confirming the point instead of arguing it? If the spell haste (from proc) and item haste (from say an FBSS) stack, then wouldn't having the two in a way increase the effectiveness of the weapon in the sense that the two together would give you the ability to inflict more damage on your target? Anyway that's how its sounding to me.

No, what he's saying is that the item haste would override the proc haste. If you had a haste spell on you and the axe proc'd, they would stack, but the proc will not stack with an item. A breakdown would be: Item + Item: always, and only, the highest haste Item + Spell: only the item Spell + spell: sum total, unless item present.
Everything I've read is that total haste is max item haste plus spell haste. Haste spells don't stack. So if you've got 20% on the waist, 30% on the back, alacrity giving 20% (just making up numbers here), and the axe proccing 25%, your total haste is max(20,30) + max(20,25) = 55%. A proc is a spell, so will stack with an item. This is different from the Mihtril 2hander, which is item (perma) haste, and so will stack with a spell, but not an item. Doing hte same calculations with M2H at 40%, gives total haste of max(20,30,40) + max(20) = 60%.
BTW, all the numbers I just picked out of the air, so you don't need to flame me for getting them wrong.
That is correct. You can have two items that give you haste(and will stack) as long as one is a permanent effect(no buff icon) and the other gives a buff like effect(ie a proc or an insta-click). but two permanents don't stack, and two buffs don't stack it just takes the higher of the two
That would total 65%! But guess what? There's MORE! You can only get to 85% - that is max. However there is one spell out there that specifically states that it can and will go over the max. I cannot remember the name of the spell but it rocks!
Uh Huh. There are 3 kinds of hastes. you can stack 1 of each at any one time. They are 1:permanant haste effects (FBSS) 2:spell haste effects (enchanters, etc) 3:haste song effects (bards). However there are level maximums for total haste effect you can have. So even if they stack, you may not get the effect. (
