i am a 47 rogue ill kill the mammoth for this quest just so i can get a full set of it becuse it looks realy cool. any one els that have finished this quest would know what i mean by looking good as a rogue =D

Actually, Thoroq, it takes FOUR hides to complete the quest, NOT three.

Once you get a high enough lv to kill the mammoths in guard 1 in Ep, get 3 mammoth calf hides and turn them into the mann on the top floor in the the bank house at halas. She will give you lot's of good armor. Keep doing it untill you get this ringmail and other things. All i got from her was the ringmail and the wolf ringmail. I'm a lv 15 rogue and I still have them. lol

This armor seems a bit heavy but for the slight effort involved... Anyway, a Barbarian isn't going to worry about a little weight! If you have the good strength and are an untwinked barbarian rogue, these could be the way to go.

I have a feeling that the way items are coded its simply a flag that says "this item is a small only, medium only, or large only item. when this flag is assigned, the game sets the item to be large race usable, regardless of class availability. its kind of lazy but it must make item creation easy.

Don't you mean playing their level 90's? Think about it when you see an ANON character who's too quiet when the group/raid starts talking about Verant......

If they took a shortcut as indicated, then why do the boots show up as barbarian only?

Diffrent coders is the reason. one decides to just take the short cut, the other decides to do it the bit nicer way guess you could say.
