I camped the side of the lake several times, the xp was alright so I can't complain but I never saw the guy. Finally a kind ranger passing by tracked him for me, he was standing at pos 2465, neg 91, which a ways away from the lake towards cabilis. Maybe he wandered over there from the lake..he was blue to my level 12 necro, died easily.

I got the shackle and then the granite pebbles and i gave him to some guy to smith and he makes it and its no drop. So i go back out and get all the stuff to make the powder but then it didnt make it when i tried (i failed) and since then i cant get the thing to spawn or i cant find him

were about does this thing spawn.... i mean ive been lookin for a week.... like i need any of the caps cus theres way better stuff out there for a necro then the caps we get from guild...... id like to know thou were he spawns or around

I have killed this guy several times near the ruins where the explorer hangs out (near the water). If you are where the river meets the Lake near FV zone, facing the lake go right along the water and he will be roaming around there.

He is still around, but hard to find. I had to have a Ranger find him for me. He popped twice in an hour and a half, the first time someone beat me to him. The second time I got him, went down very easily for my 13th level Necro, and he had the brain on him.

What LVL is this raider? I am a LvL 7 Necro working on the 3rd rank skull cap. I was somewhat dissapointed in the reward for the first 2 caps. I have all componants but the brain for the 3rd but Is the cap even worth the time. Iv'e spent days on this quest, inevidubly (I think thats how you spell it) missing out on exp point i could have gott'n just kill'n stuff?

Yes...it is worth it to at least get the cap because that is the only way you can get the other higher caps. And it's inevitable
