Who wouldn't want a walrus bone sheild? I mean... it's a walrus! I love walruses... or was it walri... yeah, nice for Pallies, and what not.
You Kidding?? This thing blows! Why would u want a 14AC shield??? Clay Guardian is 25ac 50hp and its more common than this crap, for wis casters just get charred guardian...4 more wis. For people who can afford it, something like a bladestopper is even better.
This Shield sux cept maybe for look... prolly better for that too (the new chitin shield from kunark or a sarnak battle/atrementuous shield for instance...)

This shield is only 3 wt though, and gives 5svm, which I dont think anyone wouldn't like having. As a pally, I often switch back and forth between my 2hs wep and a 1hs and shield in a battle (especially if there are caster mobs involved). The worst thing is to try and carry a heavy 2hs wep, and a heavy sheild and 1hs wep all at the same time. So even though you loose a couple WIS compared to a CGS, the light weight and SvM stats make up for it I feel.
Compare this to the other drop, Brightwood Spear, which would you rather have? This is from a visual standpoint, say you were a shammy and could use both, which would you pick, this or the spear? I'd go with the spear but since I'm a cleric I'll take the shield

I think the graphic is cool nuff. Looks like a cracked Darkwood but the design on the shield is bone looking instead of the metal on the darkwood. Just my 2cp.

I got a walusbone shield today droped off one of those Laoch guys right by the dorr to the library, doesnt really have any good graphic when you wear it but has good stats

We got one of these off 'a shambling cube' I think thats the name anyway..we killed lots of these cubes and only got one drop..this one that dropped it was in the maze area and lvl 51 I think.
