Oh so close to being a nice item! Change the weight to 0.1 and turn the CHA into STA and this thing rocks. Otherwise, I'll stick with my Cloak of Shadows thx.

dude weight means nothing for monk! sure if its not like 5.0 or so! after lattest patch you have new weight limits! so on lvl 60 you have weight limit of 24!!! is 1.1 weight gonna influence you a lot? NO and cha is a good thin' too, tho agi or dex or str would be better but there is no doubt that this is a pretty good cloak for monks, sure CoF is WAY better

LOL dude it does add up fast! I know the increase in weight helps but I think they did that to compensate for all the monk weapons they added. So it is still sort of hard to keep weight down.
This is an awesome cloak. 15 ac, agi, svc, and 34 HP. The cha doesn't help a lot, but that's okay. You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. I, personally, would not wear it on my 59 Monk. He has a greater cloak of pernicity. You don't like it? That's okay, you don't have to wear it. An item isn't crap because you wouldn't want to wear it.
yeah weight does add up fast, but then it doesnt, because you should have at least 1 leatherfoot haversack or backpack thats under 1stone for both, thats u need for a while.... i have 1 only and 1 rallic pack,i do fine with collecting items, and most things i have equipped are .9 an less, i remain at a 20stone weight full equipped, fully equipped and fully inventorized i am 24 stone... which leaves me under so weight only hard to keep down on lower level because they cant afford the better quality, less weight items, so he is right, weight dont mean nothing an item if its 1.1, only at lower level but your both right

There is the point that, back in 2001, when this thread was started, There were no leatherfoot haversacks, nor rallic packs. 5.25kpp was a lot of money, so few people had the bags from SolA. There were a few lore 100% bags off dragons, and the max weight caps were lower.
Weight really did matter more back then. However, I knew some monks who wore Phase Spider Carapace, because the stats were uber at the time. Check out the weight on that one.

what else would a monk wear on their back? this is the highest AC item for a monks back.. tied with an item that's wt 2.0 and casters would most likely hunt you down and kill you in RL if you tried to roll on it ;)

already dropped my wu, working on epic right now, getting pretty close to done :)

Well I keep looking for the good Velious monk stuff... the search continues.
Very nice AC, but the weight is a little high. Mmm charisma can't get enough of that on my monk.. err.. yeah. And blue mobs once you're at the level you should be once your in WW double hit for at around 100 at least. Them HPs will last you 1/6th of a full damage round whee. But I guess every little bit counts.
Also, since when does the item description tell you what slot the item goes in?

Ah I see i will have to enlighten you all you see it has 34HP because in the all seeing wisdom of the monks of Norrath 34 is a mystical number imbiding monks with unseen powers of insight which help them to anticipate the moves of thier opponent and thus avoide more blows. ;->
