is it possible to loot bars of velium or are the only buyable? if you can loot them can anyone tell me where or who drops them?

I have seen peices of velium, small bricks of velium, large bricks of velium and blocks of velium but never bars of velium. I think you have to buy.

Hey, chanters are always easy to find to enchant stuff, why not a druid jeweler? My Shadow Knight has a fletching skill of 135, but his archery skill is maxed at 75, and my druid has a brewing skill of 120, that makes more sense though, since I forage most of the needed ingredients.

ya my druid is working on his jewelery skill. have you seen some of the items that need jewelery they shout out druid. For instance Helm of Nocternal Phantasms that is screaming druid to me. but that is a dream at this point.

Posted: Dec 22 2000 at 10:48 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Sadd really---was hoping that this new and LONG awaited jewlery Up-grade would at least add 2 points to this and other pieces..other than adding basically 1 and or 10 to the varied pieces(like the +10 to black sapphire and fire opal, or/and the 1 on fire opal and <as shown> Jasper).
But my twinks have always got 4 ac 45 hp rings from jewelers super cheap.
So the scaling up was the same. 4 ac 45, next step was plat 5 ac 55 hp, now the next step is velium 6 ac 65 hp.
guess woulda been cool if this skipped a middle step but it makes more sense this way. Plus for a jeweler who was already at the new jewelry max I bet this stuff is not that hard to make either. Improving it another point per item would have meant upping the difficulty, and thereby the price, a lot.

i am a master of jewelery myself i am 207 in it and make about 80% of the trys in velium. but it does help being a druid and haveing a high wis.

Whats wrong with that? you can find enchanters in EC tunnel and stuff that do that for free. So, don't be a jerk about it, its not really funny and theres not anything wrong with it. if only chanters were ment to do it then it would be a class ability. so stfu
