All stat matters aside, these are special in a way... the have a graphic... all the other standard monk armor that I've seen (cured, wu's, etc) don't have a graphic. On my iksar monk, they appear black(at least dark... im kinda colorblind) with a cracked looking surface. The stats aren't that bad compared to Wu's slippers, which was what i was using, and they go great with my new Robe of Dalnir.

I keep trying, but I can't seem to get it. What the heck is this crap for? it's no drop and it's stats suck. If it was droppable, it would be to give away to newbies. But since it's no drop and crappy, it makes me think it's for a quest. Anybody have any clue on this?

It's more specifically geared toward to mid-level monk who's looking for lightweight, magical footwear so they can use Instill Doubt against magic-only mobs. They are the next step up from Cured Silk Sandals (nonmagic) and Pit Fighter's Ankle Wraps (magic). Better AC and lighter than Wolf Fur Slippers, although the AGI bonus for the WFS nudges them over the CSBs for melee effectiveness. The next footwear after these would be Crescent Slippers from Dalnirs; and you'd have to be about the same level or slightly higher to get them on your own.

I see a problem here, and this is what messed me up with this stuff before... The races listed above are wrong. Please correct.
