BTW you wouldnt be hunting these at 58, just an example, mobs 50+ all hit for double 120dmg or higher(ice well sentries come to mind) try and melee solo..you would get yur *** handed to you unless the mob was green 25 levels ago, feal free to flame me =)

A 20/34 Weapon is a great ratio weapon. I think you'd find that a the level of the game where you could get this item, it wouldn't be unreasonable to give to a warrior, rogue, or ranger for off hand use. Paladins, Shadowknights your better off using a sword of the morning/Noc blade as speed will help your taunt greatly and as a meat shield thats what will matter. Let the rogues and the monks do the damage, you job is to take the damage. As far as wasting the 100 mana, yes it would be nice if whoever got that could use it, but lets be honest, this is a weapon, and its the dmg ratio that matters. There are a lot of better primary hand items out there for druids.

well after reading most of these post i have come to the conclusion. nearly no one absolutely needs this weapon. But out of the few classes that can equip it rangers, bards, and druids seem to get the best effect out of it. i don't know many sk or pallies that would use this because they can't duel wield so they go with a 2hs. granted they do use 1hs but that's usually to keep the skill up just in case. reason why i say druids is because epic weapon procs don't stack if memmory serves me right. if i'm going against a upper lvl creatures that casts necro etc type spells than this will definitely help. although epic is the best weapon for your class doesn't mean the only weapon how many melee weapons do you meleers have and you tell me you wouldn't switch off.

most ppl won't use this all the time unless twinked regardless ;-)

Im a lv 35 druid.I solo thats it.SOLO. Only time I group is for a specific item or such for for short term.
I die less when I solo.I also do most my damage while in MELEE!!!.***GASP*** A caster meleeing , shock.I hate kiting, its a pain. Ive been there doone it and will do if I have to,but I hate it.Id love to have this weapon! It rules.As good delay as runed falchion and lots more dam dealing. Id love to know the going price for this baby.I saw offered once in FP but didnt even ask.

guilds capable of killing wuoshi dont roll for uber items like this. Officers or the loot director of the guild decide who gets the item they award it to the person who will get the most use of it. In this case a warrior bard rogue or ranger.

Ok any guild that can kill Wuoshi would not give this to a druid.. Ive seen about a dozen people using this weapon almost all of them warriors and 1 rogue why? because this is one of the best pre sleepers Offhand weapons for a warrior. If u say ur a druid and u have this Your either a ******* Liar, traded for it, or bought it off ebay. and Dont say u cant trade for it because I have seen a few for sale in DL trading for Lodizal shields and stuff like that..

I'm a druid.
I was awarded this weapon and I was using a Tunarien Scimitar prior(8/19 +6 wis +40mana)

The melee classes in my guild are already giving me crap about this b/c I was awarded it on the basis of needed resists.

Either be prepared to deal with this should you be awarded the scimmy from a raid or just pass it on to someone else.

Just to tell you people....
10 Wisdom does NOT always=100 mana
The equation for wis/int is (wis/int) x (level x 0.2) = mana
this does not include plus mana items you may have.
so for example: at level 5, with 150 wis (or int), the equation would be
(150) x (5 x 0.2)
(150) x (1)
150 mana
so this mean that yes, at lvl 50, 10 wis would = 100 mana, but at that level and ONLY at that level.

As a weapon this is merely OK. Yes on the surface a 20/34 weapon would look nice. yes, the numbers look great, but for one thing...

Lol, everyone is trying to say a druid will get this, why? because it has 100mana. There are much nicer items out there, so unless you are twinking a newbie (which no one will allow you to) this sword is pretty useless to druids. As well, rangers, paladins, and shadowknights will have the biggest improvement from this weapon. Its a 1hslashing weapon, which all three constantly use, it has extra mana for whatever we want to do, and its got extra poison/disease resist, and i know how much i hate being poisoned or diseased from melee procs of creatures.
