This is a great item for low level Iksar Monks. It gives you more AC than Curscale, costs a couple of gold (bought from a vendor in the Field of Bones just outside Cabilis) and weighs 0.5.

As an aside, although Curscale armor is, generally speaking, best for newbie Iksar Monks, it is advisable to do a little comparison shopping in and around Cabilis. For example, an Iksar Bandit Mask is an AC 3 face piece which is completely weighless and can often be found on Iksar Bandit corpses in the pit since you can't trade or sell them (NO DROP).
