2017 drop rate on Agnarr
# Dec 06 2017 at 2:06 PM Rating: Decent

There are a lot of comments for Tserrina that indicate if a bat is see invis, that Tserrina will pop, or that if a pet can't attack it, Tserrina will pop. That may have been true back in the day on live, and that may be true on P99, but it is most certainly not true on Agnarr. I killed Tserrina over 65 times (I checked in my logs with gamparse) before a robe finally dropped for me. My pet was able to attack every shrouded bat, and there was no rhyme of reason regarding whether or not the bat saw invis. Additionally, there were several times where the bat did have noticeably lower hit points than the others, but this did not always guarantee a Tserrina spawn.

Contrary to what other posts will indicate, Tserrina was also able to spawn on other floors. There are 5 bats on the 6th floor, so I made sure to clear those as well. Bats can spawn on other floors, although it is very uncommon. I have personally seen bats on floors 1 and 4, and I watched Tserrina spawn on the 4th floor.

That's my $.02

I never would've thought I'd see a level 20 enchanter wearing gear like this. Seeing is believing on Ayonae Ro. She had on the robe, the staff, and the symbol! Jealous? You bet! That's what I call gutsy, considering the gear is no-drop. Oh, her name was Vellamy, I do believe.

Grats to the gutsy level 20's of Norrath! We need more brave souls...

Most likely, it was a group of higher levels who went in, killed tesserina, and then had a mage CoTHed (call of the hero) in the low level char to loot. That, or they had the tesserina floor key, and took the lowby directly to the top floor, and either camped or invised him.

Realistically, a level 24 could not have done anything meaningful against her.

I camped my lvl 2 Mage in the halls where the bats spawn (out of line of sight). Killed her 6 times and my mage at lvl 2 now has all her gear. In current EQ even her gear is crappy for a lvl 2. I will upgrade a lot. Maybe a velks neck or something. Anyway, I solo her as a lvl 70 Bard and she is VERY easy. Good hunting!!

tserrina her self is not a rare pop as long as u take out the bats which i heard r on a 28 min spawn time but im not exactly sure. we killed her 3 times in a 2 hr period. seems that every time she drops master key.. the mage item.. and the smbol. i saw the staff once but so far no robe. i really wanna get 1. ive seen it on an iksar and it looked really cool and the pic of it on a dark elf looks awsome. this is definitely a great robe. dont really care about the int most of us have our int capped or close to it by the time ya get this. the pure mana roxxors. grats to anyone who gets this :D

bat spawned exactly 60 minutes after I killed bat from spawn before. before last patch it was a 45 minute respawn, now it's 60! Tserrina seems to spawn at least every other set of bats (there are 3)

Very sweet robe...realy only looks right on DE and iksar, because of the dark, brooding appearence of the robe. Had it from 50 till now, just recently got myself a caramine robe. This robe looks so awesome i plan to keep it, and wear it whenever im doing something that requires that i look very unique and cool. Very rare robe im told, took me 7 or 8 kills to get it, but in the process i got the symbol, and outfitted quite a few friends with the other nice caster gear she drops.

Just adding some extra info. This robe is NOT a common drop. Tserrina herself is extremely rare and her bat ph's are on a spawn time that lingers around one full hour. It's insane. I've been camping her with friends every night for the past week and have not seen a robe once. We've seen 2 symbols, 2 whips and a staff. So far we've only seen her once per day, and one day not at all. I've heard some rumors that she has a set spawn time, but so far I see no pattern. Three times when we killed her she was already spawned. I assume some people got her to spawn and then could not kill her so had to leave her. She spawned for us twice while we were camping her. I'm not going to give up just yet, but the spawn time is far too long to remain sane and the robe is too rare. Ah well, maybe today will be the day. :P

One other thing, if she is spawned and not being fought (or if she has charmed those who are fighting her) she can and WILL summon you from anywhere in the zone even if you don't have agro. I've seen it happen 3 times now where the people summoned couldn't have possibly played any part in the battle and were STILL summoned up to the top floor and killed by her, myself included. ;)

From what I understand...

The 8th floor was never completed by Verant and was in talks when Luclin was released. Well... here we are and no 8th floor.

As a side note...
The mirrors at the Master Key zone in point are supposed to take you to a specific floor, depending on which mirror you touch. Obviously, this too was never completed.

What a shame... Great zone.

On a DE is looks awesome. He was in the EC tunnel and peeps were asking him what robe he had and if they could see the stats. Of course it's nodrop so they were ******* Trust me this robe is worth camping for a loong time. It looks like banded armour but darker blue. Uber, trust me Uber nice.

Hmmmm, you killed "her" 10 times and robe droped 4??? If that is true, let me know what server you are on, I will switch, because on Bertox I have heard that this thing is ultra rare. I have killed her at least 15 times and never came close to seeing the robe. And I have spent an entire weekend on the top floor, just camping her looking for that robe.

I am sure I am having bad luck, since I think this robe is the best looking robe in the game. And its all about looks, as far as I am concerned, stats are not bad either. I will be heading back there this week to try my luck again, grrrrrr. For the love of God Tserrina, Phil needs a new robe :op

Says this is a common drop? My guild mates have camped her the last two days, killed her about 12 times - so far with what I have seen: 9 symbols, 1 whip, 2 staffs, and 0 robes. Maybe its just bad luck, since the robes are what we are after. Oh well, we headed back there today for another attempt. If she does not drop the robe today, im shoving her staff up her . . .

Ok, we just got back, killed her 5 more times today, and guess what . . . that's right, robe did not drop. Staff droped once, rest were symbols. This thing is not common. I also had a guild mate tell me he basically lvld his characters for 6 lvls there, and never saw the robe once.

For those that argue a BCR being better for an enchanter, whatever! CHA can be buffed, but extra MR/CR and 110 mana is cool by me. This robe is far better for any INT caster than a BCR.

Plus, it is NO DROP and off a mob you have to work other words, not many people will have one because you can't twink it in EC. And style counts, IMHO.

Looks like it says 5.0 to me...then again i could just be that whole "Weight" bit in front of it. Who can tell?

And as far as comparing this to the BCR, don't try it! This thing is TONS better than the BCR. has one or more INT, adds 50 MANA and resists! Cha can be buffed. If you can get this robe as an upgrade do it! One group can take her down. From what i hear she drops it every time. I got my eye on that whip she has however...but that's another post =)

RE: BCR is better
# Nov 14 2001 at 4:27 PM Rating: Default
Actually it's fairly common knowledge now (unfortunately) that CHA is really, really overrated. All it effects is the chance of charm landing. There's some speculation that it might effect the ability to land mez, but many high level enchanters have put this to the test with no real proof of it found. CHA never effects the duration of a spell, and it doesn't effect Fear, Stun, or any other spell other than Charm (and in a much more limited way Mez). It's unfortunate so many Chanters, going from a guide book, or just based on what's primary, buffed CHA up so high in lieu of other stats. My chanter has a CHA of about 70. Agi about 130, Intelligence around 180 now (level 36). I never have any problem landing charms or mezzes (particularly if I first Tash). I use a neg CHA weapon, a neg CHA secondary, ****, I never avoid neg CHA stuff if it boosts Intelligence or AC or Agi. I see a lot of chanters get an item like the Tome of Dark Rituals (or whatever that Halloween book was called), and immediately shun it, sell it, bank it, whatever. To me that's ridiculous. CHA is overrated. And this is becoming less and less of an opinion every day.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the subject, but I do see charisma playing a large role in charm duration. I play a 54 enchanter and I have several enchanter friends who have similar attitudes to yours towards charisma. I frequently solo in Skyfire by charming wurms and killing with them and my other chanter friends are amazed and say they would never do that because charm is so unstable for them and never lasts long enough to be worth it. My charms last pretty long as far as I can tell. Anywhere from 5 minutes up to 15 minutes, sometimes longer. When playing my alts and grouped with enchanters, they very very rarely charm and when they do, it doesn't last more than a couple minutes before it turns around and starts hitting them. I always ALWAYS have adorning grace on and I keep my int hovering around 210 and put up my charisma and mana instead of int whenever possible. But, to each his own I guess. 255 int is easy to get, even as a dark elf enchanter who put 20 points into charisma when she started. I don't regret it one bit.

Heh Ishva Robe is +5 CHA, probably at least as good of a robe for Enchanters IF you need CHA, but most Enchanters at the levels you need to take her out are already at 200/200 INT/CHA. But as a Mage I was happy to put this Robe on and take off my Ishva. I get complimented all the time on the look, and I do hear it is her rare drop, in a dungeon most people overlook. At 52 my Mage and Necro got full/partial resists on most of our spells, and I never got her Malosied. From what I heard from the next party up their Shaman had trouble slowing her as well. But not bad for an L51 MOB, the 10 weight is a REAL bummer though, between focus items and this robe I can't carry squat. I was going to trade my 7 STR/INT neck for a mana one, but I don't think I can afford to at this point. The Robe is also +10 MR, between the looks and the stats I'd take it over an FBCR any day, and it looks MUCH better.

And there's no way a party of people L50'ish is going to give a Robe to the Enchanter because it has +3 CHA. And to the person that said they'd keep their BCR, that's because you haven't had a chance on it, even if for nothing else having one of the best looking Robes in the game is worth something, and stats are decent. At L50 unless you play a really stupid class you're swapping INT gear for mana/resists anyways, so the higher INT robes aren't helping you that much.

And the Robe is her rarest drop. That's why YOU'RE still in an Oracle Robe anonymous. And her Necklace is +MANA as well as INT, every little bit helps. She IS level 51 BTW. The lowest level of the Dungeon is designed more for L20-30 players, and gets progressively harder. At 52 we didn't hit blues regularly until the 6th Floor, and from then on it was pretty much all blue. This is a progressive dungeon, and kind of a fun one too until you have to do CR : (

Awhile back afew friends of mine and i wass camping her on a nightlly basis. Needless to say all we ever saw was afew medal's, a whip, key's, and soul gem. never in the dozen times plus we kilt her did she drop a robe, staff or anything else she has for us.
#1 the pets not attacking the bat's if she will pop is varry true!! At first i though my hot key was broke lol.. then after every bat it wouldn't work on she popped.. so listen for the pet classes to see if its her or not..
#2 i have seen for myself that she has a pretty fair amount of MR on her. i landed ( as a 52 mage) about half to 2/3 of my nukes and i think only 3 or 4 out of the 12 plus kills i got a solid full damage of CHAR on her. she seems to lake in the save fire area.. my char worked best hitting her for arounf 400 dam of 660 almost ever time. and the lvl 51 area spell we get is like a half fire hafe MR base spell. seemed to hit her for almost full dam each time too.
#3 take someone along that can kill pets in one shot if they get charmed.... learn from out falts if you will :P after the 3rd straight pop of her out group was all about half dead and pretty much oom when her dieing spell was CHARM on my lvl 51 earth pet ( witch was still 50% life ) druid or wizzy couldn't get a evack off and tanks where in no shape to take another hit and my poor pet killed all but the lvl 60 wizzy wee had whoo got a gate off. thank god.. she was the only one who had the keys to go up and get out bodies outta there.

She is 51 and she is on the seventh level. Not too hard of a MOB to take down. We did it with 51 Ranger times 2, 51 Necro, 51 Cleric, 51 Shaman and a 41 Enchanter. Think we killed her three or four times the night I was there and Got one staff and One Robe. The way you can tell if she is going to spawn from the Bat you are killling is if a pet will not attack the bat. Also just a word of Caution, Loot and destroy everything on the corpse before you pull another bat. If it is her (Pet won't attack) and her corpse is on the ground she won't spawn off the bat.

Yes, Tserrina Syl'Tol, Err however you spell it, is indeed very magic resistant. I was 46 or so at the time, and she resisted my lifetap, lifetao dot, and ate through the pet hehe. The lvl 60 enchanter had a hard time landing everything, as I saw her cursing and recasting the same spell a few times in a row. And just as an add in, she is one creppy little vamppy.

I dont doubt her mr, i doubt you ever goin there. Aside from that you mention to look for a few tanks and wizzys to take her out. i would have to disagree totally about the wizzy. Why would you tell people to take a wizzy if her MR is so hi?

Ugh, stupid troll.

How little you understand about wizards. I have to combat myopic views like yours every day getting into groups. Go do a little research on wizards (and not the whine posts). See, we've got these spells and they're called lures.....

Myself and a group of guild friends have farmed Tserrina for a couple of days now so I know a bit about the camp.

Yes, she is very magic resistant, however we were able to land a Ro's Firey Sundering on her and from there, I proceeded to whip out the Enticement of Flame spell and manadump (yes, we wizards can do that with lures) for well over 4K of damage. From what everyone else estimated they did in damge, I'd say she has about 10-12K in hp easily.

The person who stated that you should loot the corpse completely is absolutely correct. We cheated ourselves out of a Tserrina spawn.

Also, when you first get to the set-up area, DON'T kill all the bats at once. Put about 5minutes time between each of the first bat kills so that you spread out the potential Tserrina pops.

This is a highly underrated camp. Excellent xp on that floor. I've found it to be better (and easier) than camping the first part of the hole (up to the dropoff).

Gee, "Anonymous" disbeliever, If Adra was 46 and you were 58, you couldn't see *any* other *possible* reason that you might have an easier time landing magic- (or anything-) based spells besides that she was lying?

She DOES resist Theft of Thought. I was amazed myself, and even tried standing on her (such as you have to do for dragons or giants to land spells) but no luck. Only spell that will go through is Tash. Why a wizard? Wizard may be able to use lures to land cold/fire spells, although I doubt any magic based spells will go through.
