Ummm, not all rogues walk around with their weapons bear all the time. If a rogue sheathed it and took it out for reality(assuming we are roleplaying that) why not have the waepon have a nice graphic effect. I mean Bilbo's Sting Glowed in the Freakin Dark when orcs were around. How sneaky is that! Besides it wouldnt have to glow, it could emit a radius of darkness like its sucking the light in to itself, ,Like a black Hole. Maybe with A crimson Hue of Blood. It is Seething Fury after all. I would Love to see that.
PS... I'm still pissed the Burnign Rapier doesn't have a Flame Graphic. BURNING Rapier. Come on. I'm a swashbuckler, not a cutpurse :)
Well, they could give the blade a little better design, say something distinctive at least. Then, put an aura around it like the cleric epic, but instead of the glowing blue aura make it a black aura. Would still stand out, but you could use the roleplay and say the aura is magical and "draws darkness to the blade" hehe
Why would I want darkness on my blade? I play a Happy-Go-Lucky rogue, i like the above post about making it change colors. I want a tye-dyed dagger damnit!
And I'm not 39 (or whatever it says down there)
