My berserker uses a runic carver. I found one in the bazaar at a great price, and he needed something better than his newbie axe. So yes, berserkers can use this weapon.

I bought one of these in Felwithe for a little more than 6pp off an NPC merchant(100 CHA). If you find any on a merchant,buy it! Much cheaper than Bazaar and a very good weapon for 2Handers :-) I could have sworn it was usable by Berserkers too....I'll have to recheck it as I'm planning to give it to my berserker on Brell server.

My Froggie Pally saved up my plat and bought this as before moving to Kurn. Froggys First 2Hander.
OK at first, but I knew it would get better as he skilled up. And did it! especially after 20 (Double Attk too) with the damage cap off.

This will definitely hold me until Ghoulbane. Smiley: grin

This was my first 2h slashing weapon given to me from a rl friend who also played eq. It was great and I used it till about lvl 30 when he gave me something better, I don't remember what it was. They are very cheep though, less than 200pp for sure nowadays.

This is a good wep but i was using my axe of iron back when i saw (free dmg 18 wep to first pally to come to me) so when i got there she gave me the runic for free.hey people just to tell you my cousin stole it and wont give it back until he gets a wurry so right now i'm trying to help him get one so i can get it back.if you can help me e-mail me at j.nettie@att.net or talk to duwin on everquest he's usually in unrest or gfay or cb or butcherblock mountains

This isn't a bad weapon for a young Pally who wants to up his two handed slash. But there are a load of 2 handed weapons that will do similar damage. I have an Axe of frost and Fire brand runed something or other. But on simply a damage ratio for a pally I like the sporali Defender blade and a shield to bash with.

i just bought this off i guy in Butcherblock for 150pp. pretty cool looking weapon, the nice thing is though it has a low delay for practice and can do some pretty good damage at my level. i can't wait for the damage cap to be gone when i hit level 20.

You don't need a full 50+ group to kill this Korsear Klyseer. When the first time I encount this Guy, I'm 51 shaman and grouping with my 53 enchanter friend doing hunting using our pets. We killed Korsear Klyseer fairly easy. At the beginning of the fight chanter mez his pet and we send in our pets, Chant do Tashin, then I slow, landed a couple dots. After that we just sit and keep our pet heal.

We killed Korsear three times that nite. He drop the sword three times. And the last sword ended up Rot on ground since no one come loot it even we keep shouting.

He's a fairly common random spawn at the fort just outside Chardok in Burning Wood. I've seen him in several different locations, so I'd assume that any of those Sarnaks is his PH. He's a Shadow Knight so expect a hefty harm touch, 600ish.

I got this a while ago and hase used it since lvl 5. Although i am not that high a lvl it looks awesome and does a fair amount of damage+plus it scares some nasty elf pkers away from my lower lvl friends. :) I was lucky to get it from a dude in the bank. He literally handed it to me and said give your old weapon to someone else. I did and my friend is happy!

I got this sword at level 23, and traded my Drakkel Forged Bastard Sword + 103pp for it. I love the looks, and it's faster than the Drakkel (I'm all about speed). I'm currently at 24, and my attack rating is at over 500, and i can do up to 42 dmg, where, with my Drakkel, i did up to 46, not a bad trade off.
I agree, it is a good sword for paladins/Sk's at the lower levels, but there ARE better swords.

OK, here is the deal people, my group had this drop off of a named Sarnak (can't remember name) in BurningWoods right in front of the zone into Chardok. He dropped 2 swords at once the first time we killed him, 1 the second time, and 1 the third time. He spawned 3 times in a row in a span of about 20 mins total, but unfortunatly this mob was red to me at 42, and took a full group of 50+ to wipe em all out, thus not a good weapon to get yourself unless it's for an alt, cause by that time you have way better.

Yep..I agree with Needa Life here. I got one lastnight off the named Sarnak in the Sarnak fort in BW. I can't remember his name either but he was standing around the table in the big room just outside the Chardok zone. The mob was blue to me at level 51 and had a skelly pet. I haven't seen this drop in Chardok yet.

Just a little more info. Myself (44 druid) along with a 45 ranger and a 54 druid where pulling singles in the room right before chardok entrance in burning woods. The named on was named something like Klesser Klyseer, not sure if that is exact spelling but it is close. He has a pet, he conned even to me the first time and blue the second time. Dropped this carver both times. The pet is weak, went down with 1 shot of banish summoned. The named is harder though and hits very hard.

Luckily for you, some highlevel character must have been so kind as to place the Carver on that orc as a gift. Discreet way of handing gear to random people without encouraging begging :)

I got this weapon from a very friendly stranger when I was in dire need of help and I am so glad to have one now. I'm a 10th level warrior, and this thing is helping me kick some major butt. Not only is that all, it also looks cool as heck on my girl. The damage rating is unbelievable for my being only at level 10 and the delay is wonderful. Nice weapon to have when you're lowerer leveled. Just my opinion.

I got this sword for 30pp ing items and money! i gave a shinny vrass shield and 20pp for this lovely weapon and it does me wonders although (sigh) i need to put it in retirement and get a jarsyth battle sword... It is even better but i love the looks of these 2 brotherhood swords... i hate buying claymores and so forth they look so whimpy where this stands out when i walk in a room filled with twinked people and i say yeah that's right this is my own flesh and blood!!!

If this price is average then this guy on Solusek Ro server was doing some good drugs. He was trying to get 1200 for it. Good thing I only inquired about it. Who needs this garbage when you have dual weild anyway.

I paid 500pp for this sword and love it! I have seen them sell for as low as 350pp and as high as 700pp. The sword has a 2.05 hit ratio and swings every 3.7 seconds. I'm a level 9 SK and I am hitting for 25pts of damage per swing. I had a Mithril 2h sword with haste effect and was happy, but sold it for 2200pp and baught this and am just as happy, but with a bit more cash in my pocket. Plus the Mithril looked like a Pinto next to this Jag.

Me bieng a 21 level warrior with crit hits and crippling blows this weapon is kewl i used to have a Axe of the iron back but now i retired that weapon (it was getting really boring) and got a Runic Carver from a friend and my nickname in my guild is the bully so i look mean with the weapon in hand. By the way if a warrior is reading this and is lower then 21 when you hit your20's Aviaks are great to hunt and in Lake of ill omen is good to..

I loved this sword as a Paladin in the mid-teens. Once I reached level 26, where I am now, I am looking for a much faster delay 2HS. Not that easy. Overall, this is an excellent sword for the price and it looks sweet.

As a palidin it is a wonderful weapon for the mid levels due to its smaller delay. i think it whould be worth a little more than stated but overall it's a must have before you can afford swords like blade of xalgos and ghoulbane.

Well, to be fair, it's found on a named Sarnak who wanders just outside the fortress with the entrance to Chardok. He's an SK, has his pet following him around, he's hard to miss. He's almost always up and there can even be two of him up at the same time, don't remember his name. Since multiples can be up it's probably not a name, but a title. I dunno, I don't speak Sarnak. Anyway he's easy to find, always drops the sword, and any good group around level 45 can go in and get one each (they're lore). If they weren't lore, most people would have backpacks full of them.

I have been using this weapon for about six months now. It is not required to have Velious to get this. I think it drops in the Burning Woods but I don't remember what drops it. This weapon also acts as a light source.

Lol...quack..BTW, no piece of armor or weapon you can get need velious or kunark to have (besides the no drop ones), I have a bunch of Giant scalemail, couple Kunark 2HS's, and I don't have either expansions. Guess what? I'm not gonna get SoL, either! HAH! No cat moons for me!Quack is now going to be commonplace in my daily vocabulary..

You are a quack and must be on crack (hey i rhymed) if you don't have any expansions or not gonna even try and get em. First of all, your never gonna get to lvl 60 without em. Second of all, think about all the great zones you'll miss out on exploring and all the neat mobs you'll get to kill. Third of all, yes I am gonna get PoP (Planes of Power) when it comes out. And fourth and final, yes I am a eq addict and proude to be one :)

he he..... not only do i have one of thise for my own.... I got to help the sight by sending in it's info...

lol....didn't even know I had something the sight didn't till I tried to fill out the chr equitment thingy and it didn't have my weapon!

Any way... this weapon kicks ass till you can get a class pasific one... and it looks realy cool... unless your a smaller race then it looks like your wilding a metal popsicle.

Now all I have to do is remember to send a pic of the weapon in...lol... though knowing me I'll keep forgeting and it will take me like a week.
(bla.. what do you know... some one else sent one... :-) )
