Hey it procs at lvl 40 for me and it works like a champ. I have it as an off hanf wep cause i have a Runebladed dagger in primary.

Hey, I'm a level 38 rog and it still doesnt proc for me....any info would be great. i also got it for 5500 on prexus.
I bought this for 750pp on test server, the prices on test are soooo much better than the other servers

to get into test server you goto to your everquest directory, and find the TESTEVERQUEST.EXE file, run it and it will look like normal eq Patcher, but it will patch, run eq, then you log in as usual, then at server select it has one server: Test. log into it to access test server, make a character, and when logged in type /test toget free gear for your toon and ding to 25 with all spell/combat disiples for your class :) good luck

I am sure it procs at a much earlier level but I got mine at level 51 and it was procing.

Even if they have their epic. I've out damaged a warrior using epic as 1hs and 2hs. BTW not taking taunt. He was tanking a frog and I was BSing it from behind. I got the exp. So ya, that applies to monks, pallies and SKs just suck.
It does not surprise me that you outdamaged a warroior using his epic. Even if he's using his epic he's still a warrior.

I picked up one of these for my war in the bazaar the other day. I did a lil research and read up on your posts here on the sight and agreed that the price was a bit high, but I was looking more for a wep with a very fast dam dly and something with sv magic on it. I currently use a cbol and frosty. I seemed to have lil problems in HoT when I used this combo. I will be the first to admit that I should have gotten a seb croaking dirk for the speed and stats cause yes the proc is useless for my war in the groups I am usually in. But I saw a guy selling this wep for the same price as the seb croaking dirk 11k and I decided for the first time in my eq life to go for look LAFF cause they look so cool. Anyhow in closing, I would say that yes the cbol is overpriced for the prices you guys said you have paid for it, but . . . 11k is not a bad price for a wep with this kind of ratio. I have been very happy with the ability to hold taunt with my combo. Well happy hunting in EQ all

This weapon is way overpriced, and if you're a Rogue, get a Blood Point. Shadow gives 20AC, big whoop, and you only give up 3 delay to get Blood Point, which has a better proc, great stats, and can be purchased for around 2k now.

This is going for around 18k on RZ. Very nice weapon to work on Piercing with. Woushi is such a cakewalk for a good raid group. I think I cast Divine healing once during the fight.

CBoL is a NIce weapon but very cheap on quellious server people are selling for 10k to 15kpp i was gonna buy but outta money:P bought Elder spiritist Bp for druid:)
these sell for about 10-12k on AB server as they arnt to uncommon. but then again we have a huge population of lvl 60 and woushi is trivial to the top 4 guilds and we have 4 other guilds that are capable of killing him withought that much dificulty.

Im now wielding one of them with Swifty, and so far i like it alot :)

Skulreaver, im not sure you should get rid of your LSoEE. LSoEE with Swiftwind has been the cause of much parsing and debating. Look for info on the Rangers Glade whether or not to go for it ( forums.interealms.com/ranger ).

I am a 55 ranger wielding a frostbringer and a LSOEE. 12/22 and 16/29. I want to keep the LSoEE in offhand. ( I like the AC and the damage ) Getting rid of the the frosty for the Cresent Blades...is that a good idea?? I know it is a tad quicker as far as ratio goes, and gives more AC but the AC can be overwritten easily in a group, and I dont want too much taunt as the Frosty gives me less taunt, hits harder and debuffs AC. Please, you two cp.

i think it would kind of give the same/less amount of taunt, for the proc on frosty actually hits the mob, while CBoL's Shadow proc only works on the wielder. at least, that's what i think

I presently have one in my main. Its ok. Its true the ac buff isn't much good on raids. The look and resits are sweet and I hold aggro well. This is more about the ppl that always say they have a lammy or defiance in there off hands. A 9/19 in your off hand is stupid. Its like feather f*cking the mob. Its ALL about ratio in the off hand. Get a hard hitter over there. i.e. A LSoEE or some such.

On Prexus it goes for around 15k now, which isnt much, but on other servers it's just a rip off. I would love one to go with Swiftwind, but I'll settle for a Lammy (2k) or Crafted Velium Warsword (8k).

Well I got this blade the other night and was playing around with it in Kael. I and my cleric (55th) was taking out the guards at the archway heading to arena area and your right the proc does little when you have heroic and shield or words up but here is the fun part. My cleric tags the mob with Mark of Karns and I jump in duel wielding and with my RBB and The crescent blades/defiance goign at the mob I only need to be completely healed 4 times instead of 5 durning the fight. This speed these weapons have makes up for the ac you don't get and the damage is better it seems as well. I can't wait to get AQ or better haste on me and see what I can really do with these weapons. I for one am happy and surprised at the speed and power of this blade. If you get one or have one you know or will know what I mean. Well worth the effort on getting one

Any weapon proc, to a certain degree, is a taunt. I have a Sword of Blessings from Velks and when I click it to remove a poison or disease dot, I always gain aggro for a moment. So if I gain aggro from curing disease or poison then a self buff will also gain aggro.

I would have to disagree with you Bearman. By clicking your sword you are removing or healing yourself from what a mob had hit you with. This gives you agro similar to what a cleric gets when healing a tank too early. The proc on this weapon is a buff and I have never seen a shammy catch agro from buffing me in battle. Also I have a Stave of Shielding and have never gotten agro from its proc which is very similar to this one.

you people all got ripped off, 80k ?? 60k ?? like its a nice wep, i am on tarew-marr and they sell all the time, liek usually one ever two days, and they sell for like 30-35k no more, the proc is pretty much useless cause it is over-written by pretty much 99% of buffs, you would be much better off buying a crafted velium warswrod 10 dmg 18 dly, sells for like 17k almost have the price, oh well you dont get 10 sv magic and a useless proc = P

This buff is in the enchanter line of ac buffs which only have stacking issues with cleric ac buff, shaman bulwark buffs, and obviously the enchanter buffs.

This is a rare weapon indeed, and to posess one is well....lets just that person is one lucky mofo. Anyway, to give you people an estimate on the pricing of this magnificent weapon. I met a level 60 warrior with it and he said he got offered a deal for 100kpp for it, and guess what...he said "no". So, therefore, this is literally one of THE BEST high end weapons in the game that I know of that is not an epic weapon AND can be sold because it's not NO DROP. I'm sure the proc is nothing less then amazing and well worth the effort put into getting it. And, this is defenently a weapon that rogues will be drooling over for some time....like me. =^)

On my server (drinal) wuoshi can be beat with about 2 and a groups max. This dragon he is pretty gimpy for the high level guilds.

These things are hardly what I would call rare. But you do need to be in a guild that can kill Wuoshi, and that normally means a guild where the average level is in the mid-50s or better. And Wuoshi only pops once a week.
I cant think of a time when Wuoshi didnt drop at least 2 of these when we killed him. 3 dropped tonight.
And there are still better weapons out there. Currently, the best seem to come from Sleepers Tomb.

Ok here is my story. Last night i traded my ES Greaves for the Crescent Blades of Luclin and a Gem Encrested ring. After that i was offered (get this) a Frostbringer, Winters Fury, Bitter Blade of the Icepaw, Glimmering Mithril Torque and a 8sv all ring for the blades. So anyway, these blades can sell for ALOT. It all depends who wants it and how bad they want it.

At this time, pretty much any weapon that's good coming from newer, high end boss mob types are in the priceless catagory. This is not only due to the fact that the weapon (or armor) is often one of the best you can obtain, but also it's a guild raid effort generally to take down any such mob. When it takes that kinda effort, you'd have to be a real jerk to sell it off. Most guilds award items at that level, not random them (though some do. /shrug). If you get it cause they think you deserved it and then decided to trade it off, imagine most people would be looking for a new guild in a hurry. =)

And we all know how often Everlore is right about anything...
It's 20 AC, and it's not the last in the AC line. That would be Umbra at 57 which is 23 AC.

Better damage delay ratio, even though the slow spell is nice. AC is god though.

If you look at it that way, not only will someone eelse be slowing, but someone will have thrown a better AC buff on you as well, so this proc won't overwrite it.
FYI the cleric AC buff line is superior to the enchanter one, and clerics will overwrite chanter AC buffs.
So unless you're grouping with a sub-44/49 cleric (not sure when they get a buff superior to shadow), this proc usually wont be of any use.
Unless of course you're soloing, but any rogue will tell you how much you can solo at this level.

Shadow is part of an AC buff line Enchanters get. This spell happens to be the level 49 spell in the line and gives 20ac. Looks like this is the best main hand weapon a dual wielding class can get I believe, doing abit more damage then a jade mace, plus this nifty 20ac proc. Must go out and get velious, heh.

Better main hand weapon is the Willsapper. 13 dmg 20 dly, some stats and a slow proc. Obviously, rogues would get preference if this weapon dropped, but my ranger would love to have it.
um, obviously you are quite touched in the head to even mention this weapon, I do not suppose that you have even taken the time to look up exactly where it drops and how difficult it is to get; theres a reason that 99% of the 60th lvl people out there DONT HAVE ONE. Yes, willsapper is much better, but g'luck gettin one.

Yes Willsapper (13 20) is much better than this Luclin Blade. Less agro, much more BS dmg, more dmg at all and 9 AC.
But Ragebringer is still the best main weap for a rogue i think. Tons of stats and 40 percent haste rulez !

I just got my Lupine Dagger for my ranger for 7k, crescent blade is selling for 60k on my server, lupine is 9 / 18 and gives greater wolf form, an amazing buff, you should look into one of the lupine daggers for your ranger
