I've been wearing one of these for a long time. Dropped by Glucose yes. It was a waist item, and I wore it as such for a while. They changed it to wrist, so I changed the item info.

If you dont take it off of your waist, it will stay as a belt...wish I had known that :)
Glucose drops this

Glucose, named cube down in the pit, drops this. He's around lvl 57, warrior type mob that hits for about 250ish. Fun fight for a single group. BTW, it's called a bracer, but it does indeed fit in the waist slot.

So what drops it?

Bard

There's a lot of options on how to play your bard. Maybe my songs will have a greater effect on the enemy now. I've been trying to mez monsters...takes too many tries. I tried shaman buffs. I tried getting more charisma...seems I should've put some points into this skill. But I created my bard ages ago, and didn't think to do it correctly...paying the price now...

Charisma definitely helps. I am now charm kiting Hill Giants in the Rathe Mountains with a CHA of 136. Even at this level I notice a maked difference when a friendly Enchanter buffs me with Radiance. Resistance to the charm falls from 50% to about 10%.

Everyone goes for Dex when playing a bard. Let me tell you, Cha is the thing to have!

The true mezmerizing life for bards beggins at lvl 53. The 28 Crison´s Pixie has just too much resists to get reliable. And even then its duration is just way too short so U can Mez just 2 mobs. I prefer to CHARM one and attack eith the pet another mob. With this tactic I take out 2 mobs and I do damage to them.

At lvl 53 the Song of Twilight makes the bards real mezzers. Longer duration and single resist check.

Class dissension
# Jan 31 2001 at 11:34 PM Rating: Default

Greetings~
This is a good example of why class dissension exists and where it is coming from. Wasn't it enough that Bards get our spell effects and illusions and now they get our armor as well? It is just a slap in the face to create this item and not include Enchanters in the list of classes who can equip it. Here's an idea... Don't call it Incandescent if Enchanters can't use it! Doing something this dumb and arrogant just begs for class strife and dissension. The next time you hear Verant lamenting about class bickering and dissension, you can rest assured that they create most of it themselves. Oh yeah, nice graphic too, pretty funny looking belt.

<--- bardic faction just got worse

*sigh* For that matter, why cant bards wear all those nifty Enchanters gear?

Please, wether you want to admit it or not, enchanters abilities are a major part of a bard class. Bard = Enchanter + Rogue

Before you go harping about class dissension, look at the class you're pointing a fingure at.

Oh, btw. Dissension has existed between bards and enchanters since day one. The two classes have too many effects/spells that conflict.

So shush!

I think the point is Incandescent is enchanter class quest armor. Its bad enough that monks can wear our class armor but now another class has armor by the same name even...Get real. You dont see clerics in crafted, or wizards in lambent. Why the heck are bards in incandescent. A total kick to enchanters IMO. LAME

That's smart...
# Mar 02 2001 at 7:19 PM Rating: Default
Since when do material things have self identity? Incandescent is a description, an adjective, not a noun, or a name. It does not label it as an individual or a property of another as I hear you complain. Just because Verant thought of the word Incandescent for enchanters first doesn't mean it belongs to them. Maybe there's a problem when they start calling a Bard bracer Beguiler's. If I remember correctly I have a kerosene lamp called something Incandescent, is that an enchanter item?

# Mar 31 2001 at 2:48 PM Rating: Default
*sigh* Incandescent is only a word an the reason for why some of my fellow enchanters out there gets p/o is because we want these bracers, but we cant. hehe

heheh
let me get this straight, I have an incandesent mask, wand and gloves... they come out with a bracer in the set and it has perfect Enchanter stats and I can't even wear it hehehehe go figure.

Lucky for me I have an enchanter and a bard too :)and I'm glad it is a waist item. I like the Lambent look better than the new armor on half elves.

its wrist
RE: that's wrong
# Dec 14 2000 at 1:34 AM Rating: Decent
Agreed... you think that they could at the very least come up with a random name. *sigh*

Gratz to any Bards that get one though.

Its even more wrong, It is a waist item, not a wrist item, I got one last nite
