Prophecy of RoStats and HP are very nice but the mod is pretty much a waste of time. Anyone able to get this is gonna likely have max instrument AAs which means it will cut off at 4.2 mod. why bother with giving us better drums with higher mods when we can't even make use of a mod past 4.2?

Does your guild do Council of the 9? That drum has less hps but an awesome clickie. I use it and another bard in my guild uses it. Shame for the clickie only but talk about low cost DKP items heh
Bout time us bards finally got a decent drum, haven't got a raid drop drum since poe rings basicaly. Txevu cragbeast had one but seriously, who kills that? Nice to have a drum that drops off a mob normal guilds will actually want to kill, wtg soe.

normal guild? you have not had the chance to kill first born then, lets just say this event makes cot9 look like killing orcs in crushbone.
He didn't in anyway imply that Co9 was harder. Only that most guilds do it the miniumn number of times and move on. While hopefully the Firstborn will actually be a farm event.
Once ya get the strat down this is a fairly easy event, and for the drops i'd say yeah he'll be farm status for most guilds gearing up.
